Glorified Samsung Watch - Cheaply Made

Maybe my expectations are a bit high from having several other high end smartwatches, however, this Venu 3 is nowhere near an Apple Watch in terms of build quality. The straps feel flimsy, the casing is mostly plastic. It is incredibly light, and quite frankly it feels like a toy. The Garmin software is what saves this from a 1 star review. The insights and advanced heath stats it can pull are extremely helpful. Much better for runs, and seems more accurate than an Apple Watch in terms of the HR and Cadence Tracking. Do yourself a favor and get one of the nicer Garmin watches. OR, go in and try them on first! Ended up with the EPIX Pro. OH, and battery life was around 3 days when I had all my settings accurate with Always on Display, nightly O2 reading, and the watch face I liked. VERY disappointing as 10 days was advertised. The EPIX Pro actually gets 10 days of use with my (harsh?) settings applied.

I'm sorry to hear you were disappointed with the Venu 3. Using the setting you had set up will certainly deplete the battery life. Garmin

Works great so far. A little complicated understanding all of the settings that affect battery life, started out getting much less battery life than advertised.

I bought this smartwatch to replace a Fitbit Versa 2. I was concerned that the size of the watch would be too large for my wrist but found that its watch face was similar in size to the versa. After using a Fitbit for many years, I am not finding the switch to the Garmin easy. There are features that I used often on Fitbit that I have not found on the Garmin.

Lacking customer support and battery life.

I bought the product off of Garmin's own website. Photos to show the actual product. I want to share my experience with the watch and customer support. After having the watch for around 45 days, the battery only last for 4-6 hours. All the third party apps were uninstalled and the extra monitoring the watch can do were turned off with no improvement. Customer support has been impressively distant with no support so far. An engineering team has been contacted to monitor my watch. I have not heard back from them after a month of letting them have access to my watch. Customer support has been reached out to multiple times and they never follow up with anything. Hard to recommend Garmin if their team is unable to help resolve any issues.

Best watch for Android users I highly recommend. Smartwatch functionality and the calls incoming and outgoing on the watch are clear on both ends of the call. All of Garmins bells and whistles in addition to smartwatch features all in one. I love my watch!

I ended up returning the item. While it worked perfectly, it didn’t quite meet my aesthetic expectations. Instead, I opted for a refurbished Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, and I’m really enjoying it—plus, it was significantly more affordable.

I had the original Venu and find it was much better than this one. Had to return original watch because couldn't turn the alarm off. It's not consistent in just telling you how many days your up to in your walking goal. Overall, don't love it.

It has been hard finding the perfect mix of a watch. The smart watches we've tried were not accurate enough on the health items, and the sports watches we have tried, really lacked in the smart watch space. This has been a great mix of both

It's a solid watch, the controls are not as intuitive as I would like them to be, step tracking is accurate, lots of faces to choose from. The call clarity and text display on the screen are very clear. I would buy it again
