**Excellent Watch – Great for Fitness & Everyday Use!**
I’ve been using my Garmin watch for a few months now, and I couldn’t be happier. The design is sleek and comfortable to wear all day, and the battery life is seriously impressive – I go several days without needing to charge it.
The fitness tracking is super accurate. I use it for running, cycling, and strength training, and I love how detailed the data is. The GPS locks in quickly and tracks my routes perfectly. I also like that it tracks sleep, stress levels, and heart rate 24/7.
One of my favorite features is how customizable everything is — from the watch face to the workout screens. The Garmin Connect app is user-friendly and gives a full picture of my health and performance.
If you're looking for a reliable smartwatch that’s focused on fitness and doesn’t distract you with too many gimmicks, this is it. Totally worth the investment!

I’ve been using the Garmin Venu 3 for a few weeks, and it’s absolutely fantastic! The GPS accuracy is top-notch, and the fitness tracking features are incredibly detailed. The design is sleek, lightweight, and comfortable for all-day wear. Battery life easily lasts a week, even with heavy use. I love how it integrates seamlessly with my phone for notifications and music control. This smartwatch is perfect for anyone looking for functionality and style in one device. Highly recommended!

So glad i finally made the upgrade from the Venu 1. So many more features and it doesnt lie about the battery life being around 14 days. I love the larger screen making it so much easier to read multiple things on the main screen. Color and brightness is great.

I love this watch. I love the body battery. It is much more accurate than my recent Pixel Watch 2 or my Apple Watch 10.
These are more geared towards personal health first, phone abilities second. The other watches are phone extensions that can also track some health.
You can do all these fitness challenges and exercises without an added cost.
Apps can have cost to add, or watch faces but many are free.
I am a female with a 6.5" wrist and this watch size is perfect for me. I like a bigger watch face, anything smaller feels like a nickel size and I can't hardly see it.
I am someone who wants to switch back and forth from Android and Apple phones because I love technology. This is a good fit for someone like that also, and not having to buy a watch in a specific eco system. Yes the apple message replies don't work because apple locks them to apple devices, but the work around is to use the voice assistance to text when using an apple phone. :)
Lastly but another HUGE leap over anyone else - is BATTERY LIFE!
I went 6 days and got to 35% in my first week, and you know the first week you use is a ton because you're learning it and playing with features. 6 full DAYS. Tell me if your apple / samsung / pixel watch can do that. The answer is no.
I have seen some reviews with people scratching the glass. I got a film screen protector on mine since day 1 because I am clumsy and run into walls and things so I needed the protection, but this thing is holding up amazing.

This is a great watch, and most of the features work very well, but it has compatibility issues with other devices where they will get kicked from being paired with your phone through Bluetooth. Otherwise we love Garmin products and would highly recommend. We do not have issues with our Garmin Instinct.

I have been an avid Samsung watch user for some time now starting with the galaxy watch and most recently the watch 4. I had been looking at upgrading when Samsung came out with a software release that pretty much killed the health monitoring and decided I had enough. After a lot of research I decided to try the Venu 3 as my most important requirements are health monitoring. I should have gone with a Garmin a long time ago! After owning this watch a couple weeks I am happier with it than I have ever been with any of the Samsung watches. The battery life is incredible. The health tracking and monitoring funtions are great as are the activity trackers. The only issue I have found is it does not seem to record floors well but I believe that is an issue with me and how slow I am to go up and down due to physical issues. If you are looking for an Android compatible watch with a focus on health monitoring buy this one and just stay away from the others you will not regret it.

I purchased his one in Sep 2023 and have had and used it long enough to say this is an excellent choice of you want a smart watch that lives long enough to be really be useful. It says up to 14 days, and I've seen it go 12 before needing to be charged.
Garmin pay works as expected with no issues. GPS is highly accurate. One of the more interesting features is the body battery and recovery tips which after about a month (it says 2 weeks) is surprisingly accurate. After 5 months of use battery life hasn't changed, and there's been a few features that have been unlocked since it released. If you're swapping from Samsung there's a few smart features you'll miss. Images don't always show from messages, and there's a bit of a learning curve with navigating the menu options (buttons are reversed).
The exercise functions are where this one really shines. It actually does catch repetitions for things like weight lifting, kayaking, and the numerous other activities with speaker volume loud enough to hear fairly well. Overall, I'd recommend for people who want the best of both smart watch and fitness tracker.

Everything about this device and the app is great. The watch has a wide variety of activities to choose from and there is so much health information provided. The app on the phone goes very in depth as far as heart rate, pace, gps data (which is very accurate), and a lot more. The badges and challenges help keep you motivated and the garmin coach feature will help you train to meet specific goal times for races. All of this without a paywall or monthly fee and I really hope it stays that way. Finally, I can’t end this review without mentioning the battery. This battery lasts. I don’t have fear or anxiety of the battery draining fast. If I only have 20% left I know that’s more than enough to get my workout done before needing to recharge it. I did get this watch on sale for $50 less. I just couldn’t justify buying it for full price. Other than that I definitely recommend this if you are interested.

I struggled to choose this watch when the Fenix 7 Standard was available for the same price ($200 off its regular price). I think it was ultimately the ECG app that was the difference maker, as only the much pricier Fenix 7 models included that. The built-in speaker and mic were also advantages for the Venu 3, but I didn't figure I would even use those. Wow was I wrong about that, as I'm finding it very convenient to pick up calls on my watch. The lightweight and thin profile is what I like most about this watch though, and the incredibly bright and crisp amoled display is simply stunning. The sleep analysis and sleep coach have been great tools as well, especially given how comfortable the watch is to sleep with. The only negative, and hopefully something they will fix with an update, is that the Venu 3 doesn't have a Mountain Biking app. Instead, I have to use their Cycling app and then change the activity to Mountain Biking in Garmin Connect. Not a huge inconvenience, but you would think a name synonymous with the great outdoors would include an MTB app, even on their more fashionable models.

The watch is awesome. It’s very much a fitness/health and wellness tracker, not as much a smartwatch. It tracks any of a variety of stats (heart rate, steps, flights of stairs, active calories burned, etc). It’s great for that. Helps track sleep and give recommendations to get better sleep and more “body battery”. It has crazy good battery life, well over a week. I came from an Apple Watch, which I would charge every single night. This alone was a great reason to switch to the Venu 3. There’s a lot of 3rd party creators that make cool watch faces. The watch is awesome. It is always on my wrist. If you wanna get a snapshot of your general health, track workouts, get into running, it’s great!
The wrist strap it comes with was not the best for me, as any amount of sweat caused me to get a rash from it. But a $7 strap from Amazon fixed it up! Now it’s super comfortable.

The Garmin Venu 3 is a great fitness watch. The display is bright and clear compared to earlier model. GPS is precise, but it takes a bit of time to get the location. The best part is the battery that lasts up to 7 days with regular use with daily workout recordings. Overall a great watch to go for.

Upgraded from the Venu 2 Plus to the Venu 3, version 2 was a great watch and the Venu 3 has been a considerable improvement. The most noticeable changes on the Venu 3 have been the increased screen size for visibility, menus reorganized for quicker/easier access to apps and events, slightly longer lasting battery (about 8 days, Venu 2 was about 7), and being able to create text messages on the phone (although it's a slightly cumbersome numeric/alpha dial pad text screen). Venu 3 has a smoother band than Venu 2, I find the new version much more comfortable. Reviews have complained about the polymer body of the watch, so far I have found it to be light and scratch resistant, I think it looks great, definitely worth the upgrade.

I’ve been using the Garmin Venu 3 for a while now, and it’s quickly become my favorite fitness smartwatch. The AMOLED display is bright and easy to read, and the health tracking—like heart rate and sleep monitoring—is spot on. It lasts up to 8 days on a single charge and handles GPS and music seamlessly. It’s stylish and comfortable, making it perfect for everyday wear. If you’re looking for a watch that’s both smart and sporty, the Venu 3 is definitely worth checking out.

This watch is excellent and does everything as advertised. Works well on the golf course with the phone app, works well to make and receive calls. Wish Garmin had this on more models. Texting can be a little challenging as the letters are small. The only issue I have had with the product is the vibration mode for notifications has come lose and can be loud at times in stead of vibrating. Call Garmin and they told me the issue was not bad enough to repair at this time. Beside this one issue it has been the perfect watch. Battery life is outstanding. I average a week before needing to charge. I wear the watch 24 hrs a day and use almost all features with my phone.

I purchased this for my husband as a gift—an upgrade from his previous Garmin—and he absolutely loves it! The battery life is outstanding, far surpassing that of my Apple Watch. He’s especially impressed with the Garmin app features, which have exceeded his expectations and been a great asset to his fitness journey and active lifestyle. Highly recommend for anyone serious about their health and performance tracking.

After having an Apple Watch for years I wanted to try Garmin for the battery life. I needed a few requirements to make this work. I wanted to be able to run multiple timers at once, and I needed to be able to do voice to text, read and respond to texts from the watch. I couldn’t do either. Apparently there were some work around for the timer issue. Some personal apps that others programmed. I tried to make those work but if I returned to the watch screen, it shut off my timers.
I also realized Apple phones and Garmin watches don’t really play nice with each other. Garmin required three different apps to be installed just to have the connection to phone, the health stuff associated to my fitness stuff, and to install different apps onto the watch. Just not worth the hassle. With Apple and Samsung watches able to do most stuff the phones can do, this seems like a huge programming under sight by Garmin. Watch was returned after a few days. The only positive thing was the watch did look nice and the battery was still nearly full after a couple of days.

I have had the Venu 3 for about a month now and I really enjoy it compared to my old Fitbit Sense. First of all the battery life is amazing compared to what I had, I am charging once a week instead of every other day. I like the health features but haven't figured them all out yet. I haven't calibrated the step feature and it doesn't seem to track my steps as much as my old watch but like I said I have not calibrated it. I like that it automatically tracks my walking activity but it doesn't seem to know that when I mow the lawn I am still walking. I wish it had a yard care feature, it is still exercise. I have used it for strength training but am not sure how that works yet. It still has a lot that I haven't used yet but overall it is a great watch even for an old man like me. (late 60's)
