Perfect...
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent smart/exercise watch from Garmin. The Venu has always been an excellent mix of smart and fitness features. With the addition of a speaker/microphone alongside the amoled screen and long battery life, I believe it to be the perfect watch.

Limited apps. Doesn’t play well with Apple phone.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After having an Apple Watch for years I wanted to try Garmin for the battery life. I needed a few requirements to make this work. I wanted to be able to run multiple timers at once, and I needed to be able to do voice to text, read and respond to texts from the watch. I couldn’t do either. Apparently there were some work around for the timer issue. Some personal apps that others programmed. I tried to make those work but if I returned to the watch screen, it shut off my timers. I also realized Apple phones and Garmin watches don’t really play nice with each other. Garmin required three different apps to be installed just to have the connection to phone, the health stuff associated to my fitness stuff, and to install different apps onto the watch. Just not worth the hassle. With Apple and Samsung watches able to do most stuff the phones can do, this seems like a huge programming under sight by Garmin. Watch was returned after a few days. The only positive thing was the watch did look nice and the battery was still nearly full after a couple of days.

A hidden gem!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just purchased the venu 3 after using a Fitbit sense 2 for two years. The battery started to die and it is not replaceable. They make you buy a new one. Therefore, $250 x 2 Is $500 in 2 years if I bought another one! I decided then to spend the extra dollars and get a really good one. The Google and Samsung watches are highly rated but battery life is just not up to par. The Garmin boasts a 14-day battery life, and It looks thus far that I will get about 10 days, certainly exceeding the sense 2. The functionality and customization are phenomenal. Software is a bit complex until you learn how to use it, but that'll only took me a day or two. The phone app provides details in a way that the sense 2 could not. The venu 3 also adds features that are true numerous to go through. Voice assistant is just one of them. And with all the features, I will reiterate that the customization opportunities and battery life really make this watch what you want it to be. Those are the first few days impressions and I think they will stick.

Great watch with lots useful information.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this watch for my wife because her Apple Watch Series 9 requires daily charging. She absolutely loves the watch; it lasts her 5-6 days on a single charge. The Garmin app provides her with detailed feedback on her running and gym classes. It’s an excellent watch for both beginners and runners. Unlike the Apple Watch, just collected all the data but doesn’t provide any useful feedback. The only thing she wants is a smaller size 43mm option instead of the 41mm.

Awesome smart watch for the price !
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had venu 2 but venu 3 was a decent upgrade! Accuracy is great but not perfect! Many features and functions and great watch faces. Most importantly.... Battery lasts over a week without charging !!! Not like Apple or Samsung which is barely over 1 day...... Apple and Samsung will never get there anytime soon on battery life.

Old People (me) like it
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had the Venu 3 for about a month now and I really enjoy it compared to my old Fitbit Sense. First of all the battery life is amazing compared to what I had, I am charging once a week instead of every other day. I like the health features but haven't figured them all out yet. I haven't calibrated the step feature and it doesn't seem to track my steps as much as my old watch but like I said I have not calibrated it. I like that it automatically tracks my walking activity but it doesn't seem to know that when I mow the lawn I am still walking. I wish it had a yard care feature, it is still exercise. I have used it for strength training but am not sure how that works yet. It still has a lot that I haven't used yet but overall it is a great watch even for an old man like me. (late 60's)

Garmin Venu 3 Review
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Garmin Venu 3 works very well when paired to the iPhone. I found this watch to be the most user friendly and many of the watch faces are free. Highly recommended due to its 12 plus days of battery life. I like it large easy to read face and better that the Apple Watch.

Good watch.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Lightwieght. Advertised battery life is a little lower than advertised, but it's plenty. it has the newest sensor and is very accurate. Gps is accurate. Steps are accurate. Get this over the samsung series.

Venu 3 reciew
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I switched over to a Garmin from using galaxy watches forever. It took a minute to learn to navigate, I found the galaxy watches a little more user friendly. Of course Iove the extended battery life. The sleep recording is very good although as someone who sleeps poorly, it's a little depressing! I am not a runner but I hike, walk, yoga and do gym workouts mostly and the exercise tracking works very well. I use the breath work app a lot as well. Overall, I feel for me it was worth the upgrade to get a Garmin.

Excellent health watch!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Garmin makes excellent products and this was purchased to replace a Samsung watch (old model had for about 5 yrs, but loved it). The connections to my phone are excellent, reading texts are cool and seeing phone calls are great! I really like all the monitors built into this watch and the many things I can keep and eye on my health for me and my Doc. He appreciates it too as another set of eyes, plus it backs me up when I say I am working out, I have proof!! The battery life is absolutely incredible, I get between 6-7 days between fillups, and I use almost all of the apps included. There are a couple of things keeping the last star off and that is the app and watch faces, they are just not up to par. The app is just kinda there, it is basically just a data compiling app and not much else. I can't do anything to the watch (change a face for one, unless I go to the connect website, why not build it into the app??) except change some personal settings and that's it. And the biggest reason I have knocked a star off is the watch faces, what is Garmin doing there, building an enterprise for entrepreneurs? The watch faces are the biggest problem I have, they just are not telling you anything on the face that are that helpful. And if I can find one while looking through the thousands of watch faces on the connect website (no real rhyme or reason there...), I am not paying $5 for it and then hope they keep it up to date with the changes in software that will eventually come out. Garmin, take a look at the Samsung and Google watch face websites at the FREE ones and see that the ones they make are actually helpful for you to see at a glance what your health looks like. Sorry, got to go, my watch is telling me it's time to move, and health is more important than having a stroke! Great watch, and worth the purchase, but some changes are needed by Garmin, just some thoughts, cause I love ya!!

Amazing Watch!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this watch for two weeks now and it has been great! I was hesitant on switching over from my Apple Watch, but I am glad I made the switch! It has been great to be able to track my sleep without having to download different apps. The battery life is AMAZING! My Apple Watch only lasted me half a day, and if I wore it to bed then it would be dead by the morning. I would definitely recommend the watch.

Awesome. Excellent battery life.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this product for about a week and a half now. For a fitness tracker it has all of the Smartwatch capabilities that I could want. I really like the overall look of the device and how it functions. It's an awesome Fitness tracker. Lastly the battery life is incredible. Getting multiple multiple days out of each charge. It has a beautiful crisp screen so I'm still trying to figure out why I can go so long without a charge when Samsung devices and apple watches cannot possibly compete.

Love it.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had this watch for over a week and have no complaints so far. I love it. I use it for rowing, sleep tracking, and general health. It’s genuinely more enjoyable to use than my Apple Watch was. I highly recommend.

Mix Emotions
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This watch excels in endurance, outlasting the competition even with a charge every 2.5 days. However, my shift to a Garmin, aiming to eliminate charging concerns, didn’t work out. Setting aside the battery issue, this watch is impressive. The vibrant screen, especially its night mode color switch, is a smart touch. The heart rate accuracy surpasses my previous devices, though it occasionally showed elevated rates, possibly reflecting reality. Beyond that, the additional features like HRV, EKG, sleep tracking, and stress monitoring, along with the morning report, are valuable. The sleep tracking, however, seemed less accurate, often misinterpreting stressed nights as restful. The oxygen check feature is a useful addition, though it significantly impacts battery life, especially when set to continuous monitoring. I found the optimal balance during sleep mode, but turning it off seemed to minimize battery consumption. The watch’s overall battery performance fell short of my expectations, needing a recharge every 2 days, even with certain features disabled. Running multiple EKGs daily, while impressive, didn’t offset the absence of exercise GPS. For those not fixated on continuous oxygen monitoring, this watch offers great potential, easily lasting a week without a charge.

Great Fitness Watch. Not so much for heart health.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great overall watch. Great battery life and great fitness metrics, apps, etc. However, the ECG function is basically useless. It will give a report of being in Afib when in reality my heart is beating in sinus rhythm with PVC’s. Don’t get this watch if you need a legitimate ECG function. The Apple Watch is much more reliable in monitoring heart rhythm.

Great Watch With many Options.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I liked the size of the watch personally. It is a perfect size. And also the display is clear to read. There is so much you can do with this watch as far as hiking or working out. The only thing i can complain about really is it is loaded with stuff i would never use. And stuff i would never learn to use. But the build quality is insane and it easily pairs to your phone with no issues. And battery life is insane. I can go 5 days min on a single charge.

Fantastic upgrade to my Vivactive 4
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This watch was purchased as an upgrade to my amazing Vivoactive 4. This watch is just a complete upgrade across the board: much better battery and display, improved sensors and more useful feedback. I primarily lift weights and do some moderate running, so I felt this watch to be the most well-rounded for my needs. If you are more multi-activity oriented, I find the Venu 3 to be the best choice at its price point.
