This watch was purchased as an upgrade to my amazing Vivoactive 4. This watch is just a complete upgrade across the board: much better battery and display, improved sensors and more useful feedback. I primarily lift weights and do some moderate running, so I felt this watch to be the most well-rounded for my needs. If you are more multi-activity oriented, I find the Venu 3 to be the best choice at its price point.

I liked the size of the watch personally. It is a perfect size. And also the display is clear to read. There is so much you can do with this watch as far as hiking or working out. The only thing i can complain about really is it is loaded with stuff i would never use. And stuff i would never learn to use. But the build quality is insane and it easily pairs to your phone with no issues. And battery life is insane. I can go 5 days min on a single charge.

Much better for me than a Galaxy of Google smart watch. Very easy to read. Very easy to operate: does one thing at a time with font sizes I can read. Battery lasts a week. I won't go back to a "traditional" smart watwch.

I purchased this for my husband as a gift—an upgrade from his previous Garmin—and he absolutely loves it! The battery life is outstanding, far surpassing that of my Apple Watch. He’s especially impressed with the Garmin app features, which have exceeded his expectations and been a great asset to his fitness journey and active lifestyle. Highly recommend for anyone serious about their health and performance tracking.

I got this watch for my wife because her Apple Watch Series 9 requires daily charging. She absolutely loves the watch; it lasts her 5-6 days on a single charge. The Garmin app provides her with detailed feedback on her running and gym classes. It’s an excellent watch for both beginners and runners. Unlike the Apple Watch, just collected all the data but doesn’t provide any useful feedback. The only thing she wants is a smaller size 43mm option instead of the 41mm.

After having an Apple Watch for years I wanted to try Garmin for the battery life. I needed a few requirements to make this work. I wanted to be able to run multiple timers at once, and I needed to be able to do voice to text, read and respond to texts from the watch. I couldn’t do either. Apparently there were some work around for the timer issue. Some personal apps that others programmed. I tried to make those work but if I returned to the watch screen, it shut off my timers. I also realized Apple phones and Garmin watches don’t really play nice with each other. Garmin required three different apps to be installed just to have the connection to phone, the health stuff associated to my fitness stuff, and to install different apps onto the watch. Just not worth the hassle. With Apple and Samsung watches able to do most stuff the phones can do, this seems like a huge programming under sight by Garmin. Watch was returned after a few days. The only positive thing was the watch did look nice and the battery was still nearly full after a couple of days.

Great Smart watch. It has a bright screen and does both heart rate with optional EKG and blood oxygen. I replaced a Vivoactive with this and love it. I had planned to upgrade to the latest Vivoactive but they removed the ski run tracking. My only complaint is the band is a bit short on my large wrist. It should come with two size bands.

Gorgeous screen and great battery life. I replaced my Apple Watch with this and am very happy so far. Paired with garmin connect app the heath data is truly incredible. I have had a few minor hiccups with watch entering sleep mode but other than that garmin has won me over.

The watch felt light on my smaller wrists which made it easy to jog and sleep with. The watch was more than generous with my steps. I went around a 1 mile path and it gave me credit for 1.42 miles. Also even though my older Garmin recorded my sleep this Garmin did not record anything. The settings were turned on.

This works very well as a watch, and it's easy to select workouts. I'm also glad that it supports tap-to-pay! Also, this is easily the most comfortable watch I've ever owned!

I like thay i dont have to charge this every day like my previous watch(samsung) all the health and coach on there is great. Not only that but also give recommendations for other app to gelp with nutrition and that is working great as well. Easy pair and did not take long to get use to all the functions and still more to go

Updated from an Apple Watch. I loved my Apple Watch but the battery life was terrible. I currently get over a week of battery life with the Venu3 wearing it 24/7 and doing 3-4 workouts a week with it. Screen is super clear! Takes some time to get used to how all of the features work but it now is very logical and easy to use. I love that I can create different strength workouts in the phone app and be able to track reps/weights on the fly with the watch. I wish it was easier to change a particular workout on the watch itself. I haven't found a way yet but haven't done a lot of digging either. Only downside from switching to the Venu3 from the Apple Watch is not being about to respond to test messages (can be done but it is tedious having to pull open the voice control). This isn't actually a bad thing though. I love that I am not constantly being alerted with notifications compared to my Apple Watch. Sleep tracking is great! Highly recommend!

I have to acknowledge that I purchased my Garmin because of battery life and simple email / text notifications. I have owned Samsung watches in the past and would get frustrated in having to charge nightly. I can go roughly 6 days between charges which gives me the ability to wear at night while sleeping. I don't feel the sleep data is super accurate but it gives you a consistant idea of what is typical for you. Having the heart rate, pulse ox and steps is an added bonus. I really have not used the phone call ability and can't speak to that, but I think the experience with a Garmin over a Samsung is superior for my needs.

This is a great smart watch. The battery will last me 6-7 days on average. It connects well to my phone. This is my second Garmin. Nothing was wrong with my other Garmin, but I wanted an upgrade.
