Great watch and great gps. Excellent competition or the Apple Watch 5, and has some features that the apple doesn’t. Recommend for non iPhone users.

Love it, nice long battery, keeps track of my steps and all the vitals. Do wish it wasn't so pricy...

Very good fitness watch, which is my area of focus. Screen is good indoors but struggles in bright sunlight. Also the touch screen good be very difficult to use in some situations. Trying to customize watch faces was an example where it was nearly impossible to get the touch screen to do what i wanted. Also if you use screen on all the time and pulse Ox tracking at night the battery life is poor 2 days max. The deal breaker for me was the watch would lose bluetooth pairing with my phone on a regular basis (iPhone 7). Having to remove the watch from the Connect app and start repairing on a regular basis was not something i wanted to do long term.

In love with this. Lost few pounds after started using garmin watch as it keeps me motivated in achieving fitness.

Gives an incredible amount of information with a variety of activity options. GPS is accurate and watch is very comfortable with a sleek design.

Been wearing the watch for a week and so far it’s been awesome. Battery life has been good. Haven’t tried the golf app yet, that’ll be real test. Stay tuned.

I still haven't been able to understand all the functions the watch does. My old smart watch worked on the OS system, and worked well, except it needed to be charged every 8-12 hours if one was using anything other than as a watch, so the new operating system and associated downloads require some learning--that said, the watch does a great job as a golf GPS and I feel will become familiar with time.

Without a doubt take my review with a grain of salt. I am a heavily biased consumer towards Garmin products, therefore they automatically get 4 stars.... but this product, gets 5. My GF has been using this watch for about three weeks and she loves it far more than get previous Galaxy Active 2. Mainly because Garmin Connect synchronizes a lot better with other fitness apps we use. Also the battery is impressive, she gets about 3 days with all the features turned on to monitor her health stats.

First smart watch i had bought and i am definitely impressed. Price was a little high and the lack of wireless charging. Def great for workouts

Tons of functionality, nice looks. Only negative is that it has been slow to link up to GPS signals.

I bought the Garmin Venu 8 months ago because I didn't like the Fitibit I had. This smart watch has tons of features, they work well, are reasonably accurate. I only had two issues: First, Garmin was hacked and the system stayed down for about a week. Second, the touchscreen become irresponsive for about 2 weeks, then came back by itself. I wonder how long until it fails again. Or, maybe the response issue was related to the hacking. Who knows.

Nice bright screen. Like the apps, but wish it had better integration with iOS. Good battery life.
