The GPS seems to be not that accurate. I have small wrist and had to have it very tight for heart rate monitor to work properly. Reccomend other type of garmin watch for running.

I switch to garmin because now that they have a touch screen they might have done a more user friendly watch, but no. However I was willing to loose user friendly interface for garmin famous accuracy, that was the greates disappointment, it is far from accurate, and i did strapped it correctly. Do kot buy this go to a better brand.

The system functionality proforms well and I enjoy the garmin coach and watchface background options. However, the physical design is lacking as a ladies watch (for whom the Venu is advertised). Firstly the watch face is bulky in circumference and depth. The watch face has a black edge, approximately 1/8" wide making the diameter of the face a quarter inch larger than nessacery. The watch band is particularly wide and uncomfortable, leaving skin marks.

For example, I use the elliptical on a daily basis - yet I find it difficult to stop the monitoring (at the conclusion of the exercise) so that it doesn't continue to track. Likewise, there's no explanation of the icons on the screens.

I thought I would update my watch. This one is too general for runners and I missed some of the running features. I didn't like the touch screen and didn't like how the screen is not always on. So of the new general fitness features are interesting but not interesting enough for me to keep the watch. I returned it after using it on one run. Best Buy did great ... they took it back without any trouble!

The face is showing areas where the pixels are faded or missing. I'm just coming up to two years with it as my first smartwatch and looking forward to replacing it in the next 12-18 months and Garmin is not on my shortlist.
