||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very disappointed in my first Garmin product purchase I thought it would be better than my previous Fitbit Versa 3 but it is very unreliable for instance the step counter is way off and so is the heart rate and a lot of times the watch venu sq music version says it’s disconnected from my phone even though my phone is 3 feet from me it is constantly disconnecting from my phone I am very disappointed in this Garmin smartwatch I was expecting much better performance from Garmin maybe I just got a bad one but my return window has closed so I will never buy another Garmin watch again.

Garmin watch not recommended
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Vibration on watch is already having issues after only 6 months. Bought warranty and was told they will send it off so i will be without a watch for at least a month while they try to fix it. Not an acceptable solution to for a watch that's almost brand new.

Can't Do What It Advertizes
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this for my daughter to be able to (1) track her training runs, (2) track with it's on-board GPS, so she didn't need to bring her phone on runs, too, (3) play on-board, personally-owned music and audiobooks, so she didn't have to bring her phone on runs for the music, and (4) use as an every day smart watch. The key differentiators from other watches were points 2 and 3. But at this point, I highly regret buying the Garmin Venu Sq Music Edition watch: 1 & 2. In reality, the watch's GPS can't actually connect to GPS satellites. I have followed advice to give a new watch plenty of time--both per use and across weeks now of attempted uses--to get efficient at acquiring satellites. I have followed advice to sync with Garmin Connect often. It simply stays on the trying-to-acquire-gps-signal message permanently. 3. In reality, you either can't load personal music on the watch or you can't do so with even unreasonable levels of time and perseverance. Since the Garmin Connect app can't do it, you need to also get Garmin Express. But in Garmin Express, you will struggle for at least 15 minutes for it to acknowledge you have connected your watch, wait 45 minutes just so it will let you select which folder to find your music in--during which the Express will terminate unexpectedly, requiring your to start over for another 45 minutes--then wait 30 minutes for it to search your iTunes media folder for songs, playlists, and audiobooks only for it say it found no playlists. So after more than 2 hours per attempt, times many MANY attempts, you still won't have any music loaded on the watch. For these reasons, my daughter has never even gotten to point 4. I have other watches, like my Garmin Instinct, that acquire GPS quickly and easily. And I'm using a new computer with plenty of resources. Even if there IS some way to be more patient, to persevere through these challenges, a watch that requires this level of patience and perseverance is NOT a usable watch!
