Bought this watch to more accurately keep track of my activities throughout the day. Its great i can see my heart rate and stress level, my steps. And it motivates me to keep active when i dont move for a long time. However it does leave a strange rash on the thumb side of my wtist qhen i wear it too long maybe its because of the moisture when it gets wet and i have to alternate wrist. And it has only frozen on me once.

Four rather than Five stars because it his is not a he easiest thing to operate. Has to many functions. Really...who would track their golf game on this thing. All I really want is steps, heart rate and time of day. Number of times I have climbed the stairs is useful but not essential. There are several functions I haven't even figured out yet. And won't.

Well, I bought this in 2021 and using it in 2021. So, why the heck didn't I buy it before? Only god knows. I should have .. Wasted so much time ... But I did buy it on a sale so at 90 bucks!! Great Great price. The watch is pretty awesome. It gives me what I need. Kind of wish it had the blood oxygen and better handling of the text and etc but man the watch is pretty great!!

The hrm seems to not require the band to be super tight; that's nice. Battery life when the GPS is off is really good. Connects with my Android phone real easy for all the connected apps. Nice selection of watch faces in the store. Screen is more pixelated than the Fitbit equivalent, but battery life seems better, so I guess that may be the trade off. It's been knocked into some walls/corners and into the dirt once with no scratches on the face.

I wanted a watch that would do the basics but not be super intrusive. Some watchs are constantly going off and become a distraction. I wanted something that would work in the background but not disturb me on a daily basis. Battery life is about 3 days. Has constant heart rate tracking. I enjoy a this watch and it looks great. Has held up great to falls and scratches.

My husband was becoming a couch potato and so I bought this for him for Father's day. He enjoys the large easy to read display plus the outward design. It reminds him of how watches used to look with a big round face. He is now motivated to get up and do things around the house. Since then, he has lost about 8 pounds and getting some of my honey-dos off the list. A win-win for the both of us.

I couldn't be happier with my Garmin Vivoactive 3 smart watch. I count steps, floors, track my heart rate, every bike ride and the Vivoactive 3 does more than that like running, indoor track and indoor bike, swimming, golf yardage, and so much more. I could list them all but I'll let you check it out for yourself. It works for me and you need to find if will work for you.

First digital active watch-worthy of praise

So far so good, I have no complaints as it has only been a month from purchase and I’m still messing with setting. I was impressed going from a Garmin vivo smart 3 to this. The naming of these are a little weird as the smart is the minimal one with limited feature while the active has a lot more to offer. The band is great, oddly very “soft” to the touch. It takes regularly available watch bands (which is what sold me). Also you can download their app to download custom watch faces and other things like weather widgets and even games. With the Best Buy protection plan it was almost 200$ and I have to say it’s worth it if you regularly want to track stuff like steps, miles traveled or just to check up on your heart rate. My one and only con right now is battery life seems to fluctuate between watch faces which is expected with more data being shown on one screen. Garmin advertises 7 days battery, with a battery widget (which you can get yourself) if I use a heavy data watch face the watch will last 4-4 1/2 days. Which the stock watch face I made through the watch I get 5-6 days. But the watch does charge VERY fast! You could plug it in at 25% before a shower and by time you get dressed it will have 60%+ Easily.

This is a great watch and fitness tracker combo. A big plus is the quick change bands. I got rid of the black bands and bought red bands and black bands. They are solid and easy to change out. The tracker is accurate and very easy to use. Customizable settings are nice also. When on sale it's a great value compared to the traditional band-style fitness trackers. I get compliments on the watch and people have no ideas it has all the other features.

My daughter uses this whenever she runs. It does a good job tracking all her activity, and providing vitals, calories burned, and heart rate. The only negative is if you purchase it, it needs to be charged between runs. Otherwise, like my daughter, she went to use it, and couldn't run because she failed to charge it. Regardless, this is more a user issue than the watch itself.

This watch does everything it advertises. Heart rate is on point and always on face is cool. My big issue is it doesn't do music at all and it doesn't act as a remote well. It does it, like when it feels like it. Also no pulseox. So I upgraded to a venu. In hindsight I wish I had bought a vivo active 4 or venu first. But this watch is really good it just didn't do everything I wanted.

I bought this watch to replace an aging Fitbit Blaze. It has a really clear bright screen, is touch sensitive (just the right amount) and a ton of great features and apps. The GPS feature is great because I can use the Strava app (on the watch) and don't have to have my phone with me when mountain biking. My only complaint is that I wish that I had bought this watch sooner.

This is my third Garmin. I had a vivofit and a Vivoactive HR. I love this watch. It is visually appealing, full of features not found in some more expensive watches and feels great in my wrist. The only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars is that the backlight comes on a little easy and the battery has not lasted me the stated time. I think with a couple of tweaks I can improve that. Great buy!
