This watch is inaccurate. I will walk up four flights of stairs and the watch will not recognize it. However, I can walk around the house( which is one story) and look down and the watch will say I have gone up five flights of stairs. The step count is also off, I don't feel like it counts the steps accurately either. Don't get me started on the stairmaster at the gym. I bought this watch because it had a specific stairmaster widget. I'll do ten minutes on the stairmaster and it won't be counted at all. Not sure why this watch is so inaccurate but I have had it for about a month and I am already over it.

Posted .If you're experiencing an issue with your vivoacitve 3, please go to support.garmin.com where you'll find many FAQ's and video's on the functions of the device. As well, if you're holding onto the rail of the Stairmaster the device won't count steps as it uses the internal accelerometer to count steps. As well, you may reach out directly to our product support team from this page if you're still experiencing issues after searching the FAQ's.

Does not seem to connect to windows via bluetooth. Seems you need to use the propriety usb cable. Really, a proprietary cable? That is not good. It is not like you can get it replaced at a local electronics store.

While it is capable of doing many things for me, I only use it to track my sleep patterns and my steps. I really like the large digital clock as I have old eyes. I like how it darkens until I touch it to see it. Helpful at night.
