Customers are saying
Customers are delighted by the vívoactive 4 GPS Smartwatch's long battery life, which lasts up to 4 days, and its durability, which is more robust than an Apple Watch. They also appreciate the activity tracking feature and the onboard music storage. While some users wish it was smaller in size, overall, customers are pleased with the watch's screen, GPS tracking, and ease of use.

1 star without free replacement from Garmin
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good watch in terms of functionality, but has some major issues. My watch died after 1.5 years, and I had to go to Garmin's support website to get it replaced. Garmin acknowledged the fact that many people had issues with this watch model, and so my replacement was for free instead of the usual $150. Pros: - Super accurate heart rate tracking. - Looks good. - Screen is very readable in harsh sun. - Lots and lots of activities can be recorded. - Decent build quality. - Replacement has much better and accurate GPS tracking. Old one was more wonky and the GPS jumped a couple meters here and there. - Battery life is approx. 4 days, or about 15 hours of continuous GPS tracked activity. Cons: - Strap it comes with is bad, allows water to sit on my wrist, and gave me rashes. - No Hike activity!!! Cmon Garmin! I have to track my hikes with "Walking" and then change the activity type in the app! - No maps. - Screen scratches easily. (I use a protector) - Battery quality is poor, and I'm not expecting my replacement to last more than 1.5 more years. - Tough to use touch screen when wet (like when swimming or sweating profusely). This is an advantage of watches that are buttons-only.

Garmin - Vívoactive 4 GPS Smartwatch
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Garmin, a quality brand you can trust. It's a 33mm fiber-reinforced polymer and silicone band. Come slated with a black case. Overall, this smartwatch is pretty good for those who do a lot of activities. Designed for those who likes to work out a lot. There are so many activities- swimming, biking, running, etc. Also, keep tracks of your heart rate, stress rate, etc.

Highly recommend
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I highly recommend this product. Battery life has been superb, the screen is bright and responsive and GPS is accurate. The ability to sync/download spotify playlists to the watch is also great. Ive gotten lots of compliments already, and I'm glad it has interchangeable straps so I can change them out based on the occasion. We'll see how long it holds up long term but so far I'm happy. One note as I'm writing this, Garmin servers are down and have been for several days due to being hacked. This has limited my ability to sync, set alarms, and view my history. They havent communicated anything about it yet, but I'd see how it plays out befofe purchasing

Great fitness watch..could be brighter
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Thai is a great fitness watch. I have if 4 stars because the screen could be brighter and when u increase the brightness controls it drains the battery faster than expected. It will last about 3 days while raising the brightness

Good watch with multisport activity tracking
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like the look and feel of the watch and activity tracking options. Improvements can be made to the backlit screen to make it more digitally pronounced. Also, it takes a couple minutes to get the GPS signal for tracking outdoor runs. My other cheaper Garmin watch was much faster in this aspect. Overall I would rate it as a good purchase for the price considering the available features.

solid gps, shaky swim results
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this device based on reviews I'd seen on YouTube. My hope was that this watch was going to be my 24-hour fitness tracker. My main exercises consist of hiking, swimming, and weight lifting at the gym. After a month with it on, I can say that this watch has an amazing GPS tracker. I use it to track how long and far I hike all the time and it really does help motivate me to continue to exercise the next day. I also enjoy seeing the breakdown of my sleep and how many calories I burn actively and passively in the day. Sadly, the same consistency with performance cannot be said with its swim tracker. It simply does not accurately keep track of how many laps I put in and I end up having to just keep count in my head. The watch is waterproof but it's still kind of a bummer that one of its "supposed competitive advantages" over the acclaimed apple smartwatch is that it had a better swimming function....and that turned out to be a dud. Overall, if you want a watch that just works to keep track of everything except for swimming laps and you don't mind charging it every 2 days, then this watch is for you.

Solid Fitness Tracker, pretty good smartwatch
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had the watch for over a month now! I've had 4 days of battery life with 1 hour of activity tracking, 9-10 hours of sleep tracking and over 100 notifications per day. I love the app for it's fitness tracking features. It has certain smartwatch features. I wish the connect store was little bit more extensive with regards to smart watch capabilities. I also wish that the watch came with nap tracking. It only detects sleep during the "assigned window". And lastly I wish the Garmin connect app was more intuitive!

Good intro watch
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall happy with this watch, it’s the first I’ve owned. Battery life is great lasting about 6 days. A few minor glitches once in awhile, nothing major that can’t easily be overcome. Seems to be a very good watch for the price point. Still playing with it and trying out different apps. I haven’t beat it up to hard yet, but it seems durable. It’s taken a few scrapes against concrete walls and haven’t noticed any scratching.

Tracks well
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like everything it does so far, haven't taken the time to really look into all it does. I do like the grey color, wish it was a little smaller for my tiny wrist.

Love the Vivoactive!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a very basic Garmin for years and am living the new features of this watch. I do miss that there is no date on the main screen and no find my phone feature however. I also think this watch is more accurate with calories.

Sleek looks, packed with essential features
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Music without phone is its best feature at the price paid. Light weight, snuggy fit. Battery could have been better. Only issue I found is the wifi connectivity. It keeps saying the password is incorrect even though it is correctly entered. Had to use a workaround to temporarily disable the router password, download the songs onto the watch and enable the router password again. Would have given 5 stars if this problem didn't exist.

Classic Garmin
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This replaced my Vivoactive 3 and I can say the improvements are subtle but definitely good. To start the screen is slightly bigger but with a bump in resolution. Now after certain activities a map will be displayed on the watch. Battery life is still top notch with the watch not needing to be charged for 3 to 4 days. The the swiping on the edge of the watch to move up and down the screen is gone but that will not be missed. Watch now measures blood oxygen levels and body battery levels. If you are looking for a vivid bright screen look somewhere else. If you want a serious fitness watch this is it.

Great Tough Watch Series
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Garmin is the only watch that has been rugged enough to survive for any significant period of time on my wrist. Either the watch is damaged or the charging port connection dies on other watches. My wife bought this watch to replace an existing vivoactive HR which is still working after a couple of years and a new watch band. No crazy about the menus on this watch and getting to more info, does not seem that intuitive so far. Simple is better.
