I had an older version of the same watch that I loved but I broke it. So i replaced it with a new model and I still love it. Just as good as the last model with a few new features!

Love this Garmin Vivoactive 5. This is my first Garmin after owning at least 6 Fitbits (like a fool). I was tired of replacing the fitbit Charge 4, 5, 6...almost every year(!) and paying a premium membership. The Vivoactive is comfortable, lightweight, gives me all the information I'm looking for, and does so, I think, more accurately than fitbit. Love you can change the watchface to an abundance of choices. The silicone band is super soft. Couple of negatives; it takes a half-second for the screen to wake when glancing at it. It is a bit more sensitive to errant taps. But the biggest let down is the battery life. I'm getting nowhere close to the advertised number of days, and I don't feel I'm overusing it's functions/sensors. I'm only getting about two (2) days before I have to charge it. Still, I highly recommend it. It's just leaps and bounds better than fitbit. AND NO MEMBERSHIP/FEE!!

Great watch with a few flaws. I love this watch. It seems very accurate. It also has great features and the app is fantastic. Two problems though. It does not count flights, and I can't stand the charger! Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Thankfully it has an amazing battery life.

My goal for the past few years has been to get my A1C level to as close to 6 as possible. This year, I switched to a Dexcom 7 glucose reader and used their app on my phone to track my blood sugar. This was still a pain because I had to log into my phone and start the app every time. My solution was to pick up the Garmin - vivoactive 5 watch. The watch pairs with my phone and reads the blood sugar levels. I now have the perfect combination and can see my blood sugar level on my watch. The watch is also the perfect addition to monitoring my exercise routine at the gym. It uses the GPS feature to track how far I have walked and has many other features that I am exploring to maintain a healthy life without having to go to the doctor every couple of months to see how I am doing.

Great battery life, responsive screen, consistent tracking of steps/vitals. Does everything I want it to! Would recommend

Garmin watches are the best. Battery will last roughly 10 days. Very Happy

I had an older watch Garmin vivoactive 3, and new one is vivoactive 5. The new one is way better than the old one.

Great watch if you dont need/want all of the bells and whistles. The build quality is fairly good. I'd kind of like a bigger display or watch body, personally. This has platic buttons and no speaker. The battery life has been as advertised at 11 days.
