Customers are saying

Customers have good things to say about the Vivofit 3's battery life, ease of use, and its ability to track steps and sleep. Many appreciate its water resistance and the accuracy of its tracking features. However, some customers mentioned the small screen size and occasional issues with the band's durability as drawbacks. A few also noted challenges with syncing the device and the lack of a built-in heart rate monitor.

I bought this as a gift for my mom. She loves it she has gone through 2 fitbits and the bands just kept breaking. This one has replaceable bands. Nice product

I thought the product was a good bang for the buck and seemed easy to use. I was surprised someone else's data was on it! I should have returned it but I didn't. Then it froze after a couple of days with an "About" icon and I couldn't find anything about this through Garmin. I emailed their customer service. I changed the battery which fixed it, for a couple days when it did it again. I searched all over online and found a forum dedicated to the vivofit freezing. All were told to return it to the store. So that's what I did. I returned it as defective. When I mentioned it had already been returned Best Buy said they will accept Garmin fitness trackers as a return, but not the other brands. I finally received a return email from Garmin telling me to return the device. Way ahead of you!

While on vacation my Garmin Vivofit quit working so I headed to BestBuy and upgraded to the Vivofit 3. I like the look of the tracker much better. The band stays on way better due to the different locking mechanism.

Bought one for me & one for hubby...neither one of us are impressed with this Garmin. Hard to get wristband to stay put to close & lock, features are not the greatest plus the Garmin Connect program is less than impressive ! Had to buy an Ant-stick to make it work, I don't have a smartphone. Basically using it for watch, date & step count. Not sure if the step count is accurate...Wouldn't recommend buying.

    Use this for our son

We use this for our son (15 years old) to measure his steps and calories for a P.E. class. It definitely measures his steps each day and calories burned. It servers its purpose but does not always capture everything. We use it with his iPhone 5S. We bought it because the price was right. No frills, but it does the job. There are probably better ones on the market that cost more.

I have had the Garmin Vivofit 3 Activity tracker for about a month now and really like it. It does exactly what it is supposed to do and has been very reliable. I would definitely recommend the Garmin brand!

This is easy to set up the only this is that my husband doesn’t like the fact that you have to charge it he had one that was the same brand that had a regular battery.
