Thank you for taking time to review the vivofit 3. We would like to offer a few suggestions so that you are able to get the most out of your device. The vivofit 3 has a button that is just beneath the screen on the device. Pressing this button will change the screen so that you can see the different metrics. Please use the following Owner's Manual link for more information on what each screen icon means: http://www8.garmin.com/manuals/webhelp/vivofit3/EN-US/GUID-2A431F2C-A5C1-4355-9FE2-298B7E713BB8.html. The manual also includes information for pairing the device with your phone or computer so that you can full take advantage of all the features. Thank you again for the review. -JFH
