This vivofit provides the move bar that shows up when you have been sitting still for an hour. Get and move a bit and it resets. Only drawback in my opinion in that there isn't a beep or vibration to assist he visual alert. Having the vibration would be more effective.

However, once figured it out I have not had any problems. Wish it had a light. Love the sleep monitor but it is not that comfortable to sleep in. Would like to have a different band available other than the fat rubber.

I gives you a red line when you're lazy. It does not automagically sync with your smartphone or device unless you tell it to. Sometimes it won't sync. There's no directions that come in the box to help you. It's whatever.

I thought the vivo would me good thing because I wouldn't have to charge , just hang the battery after some months . But adding 900 steps while I was driving to work, showed me this item wasn't for me

It is normal for some steps to be added during activities where the hand may mimic a similar motion to walking from time-to-time. However, If there is that big of a jump in steps while driving, we would typically recommend updating to the latest firmware using Garmin Express at http://www.garmin.com/express and contacting our fitness product support at http://www.garmin.com/us/support/ if the behavior continues.
