There are additional bands in different colors made by Garmin but Best Buy doesnt carry those. That would be the only thing that I would have liked to purchase with the product.

Software was nice and functioned as I would expect it to. The only issue I have with it was the accuracy. The step counter was WAY off. I did a test with holding my phone in the same hand as the band. The band was off by 250-300 steps each test (x3). Other than that I liked it and it worked well. Returned it for the HR version.

The vívofit is a wrist-based activity tracker which will give you a general view of your overall activity by counting steps based off of your wrist's movement. I would encourage you to view information from the following Garmin FAQ links to help provide a better understanding of why your vívofit may record a different number of steps then your phone.

We've only had it for a couple days, but this older model Garmin vivofit seems to be just what we needed! It's comfortable, looks good, doesn't need charging, and isn't too complicated. The screen shows just enough info. It's not backlit, but that's probably a good thing - less of a distraction in the classroom and at bedtime. As for durability and general usefulness, time will tell. But so far, so good!!

Not what my mom expected

She's very petite & this device is very large on her wrist. She complains that it is causing pain in her wrist & hand. We also had trouble syncing with the iPhone app, too. I don't think I'd recommend this product just because it didn't work well for us. It may be great for others.

The color on the band starts to wear off after about two months though. For the price it's was a great purchase comparatively.

My only complaint is that is doesn't seem to track activity if you are on an elliptic or treadmill. But I can see how far I went on those machines so it isn't a big deal.
