It was really wonderful in the beginning. Worked like a charm, but then after a few weeks it wouldn't count my steps even when I was running around.

This is great because I can use this in the pool when I do my water aerobics. I have another device that I can't do the same with. The only thing I don't like is that I can't do an automatic sync.

My 10 yr old wanted to borrow my smart watch all the time. Bought him this for a cheaper version and no smartphone needed. He just wanted step counter and time.

I didn't read anywhere that you must have a smartphone to start it up. That would have been bad if my daughter didn't own one. I am not going to get a smartphone just to use a fitness band. It encourages one to walk more.

Tried Fitbit & Up - Vivofit is more comfortable, user friendly & the ability to check real time on unit is more helpful than others were.

I bought this fitness tracker for myself and it is pretty good for the price I paid. It was a lot less than other expensive trackers out there. My only hang up is sometimes it's a little off tracking my steps.

My best friend is a workout fanatic and so I decided to surprise them with this handy device. They cannot stop thanking me enough. Their workouts are now more thorough and performance as well as results are both better tracked. Makes a greasy gift for the workout/fitness enthusiast.

Gave this to my sister as a Christmas gift last year to motivate her to move more...Im a loyal fan of a different brand, but this is a decent option for someone just starting into the fitness band craze.

Not a lot of "flash" with this product but it does what it says it will do. Fitbit definitely seems more interactive being able to compete and socialize with friends, perhaps some regret there.

Loved this vivio fit til the screen started to go - only had it 20 days. Garmin has been awesome in contacting and is sending a replacement. Love that it is basic and has the time, and steps.

A nicely made fitness tracker where you won't have to worry about issues like the band snapping in a certain spot or the main counter piece popping out. App and syncing is simple to use.

This band counts your steps, tracks sleep and has a display. But the app that links to the band is basic.

Fits well for a child. Unable to link to an iPod so she can keep track of her steps. She enjoys looking to see how many she has in a day

I paid 80.00 for my Garmin vivotec. 2 days later, i received an email from Best Buy with the same tracker for 49.00. Very disappointing. Would not buy it here again. Too expensive.

This model did not provide heart rate option built into band. Had to wear an additional strap around chest. Not what I was looking for.

While the vivofit does not offer built in optical heart rate, Garmin does have other models that offer this feature in a similar form-factor. The vivofit does not advertise this feature and is often available with a bundled heart rate monitor strap for users who would like this additional information. If you have any questions about our products, our product support team (www.garmin.com/support) is available to answer them.

On paper this did everything I wanted but the set up instructions seemed complex and it would not sych with my device. After 2 frustrating hours I gave up and returned it to Best Buy.
