Customers are saying

Customers enjoy the Vivosmart 3's ease of use, long battery life, and accurate heart rate tracking. Many appreciate its waterproof design and sleep tracking capabilities, although some find the screen size to be small. A few users experienced issues with Bluetooth connectivity and the accompanying app. The band's durability was also a point of concern for some customers.

This is advertised as being wearable in pools, etc. I took it off for showers and the band still broke within a few weeks. I was very disappointed as this is one of the very few fitness trackers that has a setting to shutdown the bluetooth. Loved it while it lasted.

I'd lost my older Garmin tracker, and assumed it was because it had poor quality rubber closure, so bought this one with a better buckle. Recharging is a pain! Function changes don't work well, instructions are cumbersome. Then I found my old tracker! Still love it, and the new one was a waste of money!

I like this band since its full of features I didn't know about before I bought it. Find my phone, breathing exercises, VO2 max estimator. My one and only complaint is the HR sensor accuracy, when compared to my chest strap, it is usually way off. Since this is the main purpose why I bought it and it failed and doing good job at it, for me, its a 1 star item. It may work for someone who doesnt care much about HR accuracy.

    Absolutely Worthless

This fitness tracker is worthless. Most days when I have climbed 10 floors it will record 50 floors. My wife's on the other hand rarely records any floors. Number of steps appears to be fair representation. I can be up and about working and it tells me to move. I can be sitting watching TV an it will tell me the move bar is cleared. In general the algorithms, sensor or both are very poor. I recommend Fitbit.

After comparing the fit bit 2 with Garmin vivosmart 3 I was really excited when I purchased it. I loved that I had more features like the stress monitor and that it was water resistance. The VO2 Max was what really sold me. I'm 5'2, 190 pounds I'm not fat, I'm obese. According to the VO2 Max I would know how I'm doing compared with other people from my age group. And it was going to tell me the age that I have according to my performance. I was really looking forward to this because sometimes you need that Eye awakening to worry about your health. And this was going to be the extra push that I need it. But after doing the test I got no results. I called Garmin to see if I did the test correctly they told me to go ahead and switch it out for a new one, the one I got was defected. I did the VO2 Max test again with the new Garmin and again I got no results. I called Garmin again, they suggested that instead of walking like their instruction says to run this time. "Hello I'm obese" but I did my best for the 3rd time, and again no results. I switch it out for a third one hoping that this would be it. After doing my Vo2 Max test I finally got my results BUT I didn't get my age according to my performance. This tracker would be perfect if all the features actually worked. When you buy something you don't want it to work 80% but 100%. I would of given this product a 4 star but, I did get 3 trackers

Hello Lit, Thank you for taking time to reivew the vivosmart 3. We are sorry to see that you were having trouble getting the Vo2 Max value displayed on the device. We would recommend that you check your heart rate settings in Garmin Connect/Garmin Connect Mobile to ensrue that your max heart rate is set correctly. A Vo2 Max calculations requries your heart rate to get an elevated heart rate for at least 15 minutes. For most users with a vivosmart 3 a brisk walk should be enought to get a calculation, but if your max heart rate is set too high then this could be one reason why it would not calculate as expected. You can verify your max heart rate settings in Garmin Connect. Also, you will not see your fitness age displayed on the vivomsart 3 screen. This information is available in Garmin Connect Mobile. If you are still not seeing this information, please send an email to [email protected] so that we can investigate further. Thanks again for your review. -JFH Garmin
