Customers are saying
Customers enjoy the Vivosmart 3's ease of use, long battery life, and accurate heart rate tracking. Many appreciate its waterproof design and sleep tracking capabilities, although some find the screen size to be small. Would Not Synch With LG Phone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I liked the size and weight of the Garmin and it looked well built and durable. However, it would not synch reliably with my LG phone. My phone has struggled to connect with other devices, so the problem is with LG, not with Garmin. Best Buy staff helped me exchange the Garmin for a Fitbit...for some reason my LG phone WILL connect to a Fitbit.

Returned it after 7 days
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this product after being an avid Fitbit user for many years. The water resistant feature was a huge plus for me. Day 1: set up and paired with my iPhone, could not get the server to connect to sync the device. I then hooked it to my laptop and got the product updates. Day 2: still would not connect to server. The device was paired with my phone but it would not upload data to the Garmin site. Day 3: Same story, sent an email asking for assistance. Received an email telling me to try the steps that I had already taken (which I was clear about in the email). Day 4 and 5: No luck. Day 6: Call to Garmin, spent almost 2 hours on the phone with the tech, he had no idea what was wrong with it. Advised that it was a "new device" and that he was having trouble getting their test device to pair with his phone as well. I have since returned the device and am trying the Vivoactive HR, this is the last shot giving Garmin products a chance, after this it's back to my old Fitbit.

Band should be replaceable
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the app and information it tracks. The band is not good at all. I work out often and this is the second time my band has broken. I think Garmin should make a new design where the band can be replaced.

Broken display after 20 days
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this product because I wanted the forerunner 35 but no stores had it in stock. Decided to try this one and really don't like it. It never managed to monitor my heart rate properly when cycling. It would read it in the low hundreds the whole spinning class. Tried to wear it tighter but no luck. Then 20 days after use the entire display broke. Nothing showed up but it was still tracking. It wasn't just a dead battery, it would sync to the phone and vibrate with notifications but no display. Now I have to exchange it because I'm just outside the 15 day return window. Not happy!!

Garmin can do better
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am very hard on my trackers and require them to be low profile, accurate and durable. The idea here is good but the plastic band and watch face attracts dust like a magnet. I live out in the country and the Bluetooth is constantly updating and showing in and out of range- very distracting. I like the idea they have here but when working outdoors I dont want to carry around the dirt on my watch. Change the band or the plastic used in it and I might just try it again. I like the band size and clasp but not the dirt attracting material.

Disappointed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I spent several days researching heart rate monitors. I bought this one because it was truly waterproof. However, I had some reservations about the vivosmart 3 based on reviewers who noted the heart rate monitor was way off. Those reviewers were exactly right. I knew I was in trouble when I took it out of the box, put it on, and it said my sitting resting heart rate was 99 bpm. I put on my polar heart monitor with the chest strap for comparison and the vivosmart recorded 108 bpm while the polar heart rate monitor recorded 84 bpm while I was walking. That's just insane. I also agree with reviewers that the screen is fuzzy and not crisp at all as is shown in the pictures. Such a disappointment. I had high hopes with reservations based on other reviews I had seen. I've had this 24 hours and it's going back.

Disappointing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very unresponsive screen...sometimes. Doesn't like to wake-up. Not easy to set up. Took many tries to pair. Screen looks dirty, too. Wish I had got the Samsung. It was alot more fun to use, but the screen burnt out prematurely. Maybe this will be durable, when it decides to wake up. Lazy watch!

Features do not work
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The weight lifting activity feature does not work. Now today, the feature that keeps track of stair climbing does not work. The touchscreen is difficult to use especially if you are working out and sweating. Save your money and aggravation and choose another product. This one is not ready for prime time. I wish I could return it but too many days have passed

Decent Product, Terrible support
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The product is overall an OK product. But if you have any issues (like the arm band breaking) good luck with support. Their agents were very rude and unwilling to help!
