To get the most out of the vívosmart, you should pair it with your smartphone and complete the setup using the Garmin Connect Mobile app. Unlike other Bluetooth devices that are paired from the Bluetooth settings on your mobile device; your vívoactive device must be paired directly through the Garmin Connect Mobile app.

The rechargeable battery in vivosmart can last up to 7 days on a single charge. Various factors including screen brightness, frequency of smart notifications, and frequency of heart rate monitor or speed sensor use can shorten battery life in between charges.
An issue was identified with iOS users and the Garmin Connect app with could have caused a reduced battery life. Software updates have been released for both the device, as well as the iOS, and Android apps that should have corrected the issue. These updates also strengthened bluetooth stability, which greatly improved syncing and reconnection.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i purchase this item because it was cheaper online then in the retail store, so when i got it , the divice was kimda of blurry than the one i had at the store so i went to the store to exchange it amd all product was used so i ask y it was used and they say its not used and never been open so when i open it exactly what i thought, it was used so i was lied too and i return it the same min i walk out of the store and fot credit back for it.

I can use it when I cycle and cross train and get credit! One of the features I didn't know when I purchased it was the Bluetooth messaging. So now I am even on time for meetings!

Garmin Vivosmart Tracker, not user friendly

I could not get it to sync. I finally took it back to Best Buy and traded it for the FitBit Charge. I watched the salesman, Nick, hook it up for me in 4 easy steps! I could have done that myself I feel sure.Took it home, charged battery more and all the info came right up on my iPhone.

Screen fades after a while

I sent it back to farming and they sent me another and now a week later the same thing happened to this one it would be a fantastic product if the screen didint mess up.
