Customers highly value the GPS, heart rate tracking, and long battery life of the vivosmart HR+ Activity Tracker. Many appreciate its ease of use and waterproof design, finding it accurate for tracking steps, sleep, and other activities. However, some find the device bulky and the display could be improved. The design also received mixed feedback.

Like this Garmin cocos art HR+ Tracker. Have had others with less options but upgraded to this one. It motivates me to walk more as it keeps track of all my steps. Keeps track of sleep patterns also.

This GPS watch is very easy to use and has great accuracy. However, it's tough to synch without a smart phone!

The Garmin - vivosmart HR+ Activity Tracker + Heart Rate ( Regular ) - Black is much improved over the vivosmart. It is more functional and accurate. The only draw back for me is that it is larger.

Works GREAT! (if you just want a watch)

These were not the first fitness trackers we've owned. We have had several Jawbone's, and I also own a Forerunner, which has been terrific. We thought since we loved all the features, the look, and the feel, and since they should be pretty easy to use, the VIVO HRs would be the perfect bands for us. However, my wife and I both have one and this constantly confuses the bluetooth. Only ONE device can be used on one account. When Garmin Support tried to help us set up the second device, it seemed to work fine, but in reality it was only reading the first device. They were able to fix this for a while, but it keeps reoccurring. This is especially frustrating since Garmin Support is ONLY open during banking hours and the average hold time can be up to an hour. My other issue is that it seems to be inaccurate. It is not uncommon for it to tell you to "MOVE!" while you are running, or that you have hit a 10,000 step goal after only being awake only 20 minutes. We still wear them but seldom pay attention to them because we don't trust them. If Garmin could have the support and the software interface that Jawbone has, I think they would be the best in the fitness tracker field. They should merge! Unfortunately, these two things combined add up to two very serious flaws and I regret wasting our money on them.

I have used this for 2 months and paired with the My Fitness app I have lost a bunch of weight. Works great under stressful conditions and charges quickly. Much better than my Fitbit was.

Fantastic tracker, exceptionally accurate step count and sleep tracking. Love the GPS feature for mapping my walks. Got this to replace my Charge HR which only ever counted half of my steps.

Bought this for my 12 year old son to track his activity (avid swimmer). So far it does good, but had to forge his age to set it up due to parental controls enforced by Garmin.

Only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is the battery life is a little lacking and it takes time to find me at the beginning of my ride....I am sure battery life is shorter then the Vivosmart HR due to the plus having GPS so I understand that. I just have to remember to charge it more often so it does not die on me in the middle of a ride. I chose it over the FIT bands due to the ability to see the screen in bright light(SUN).

Awesome battery life, works great and does what it's supposed to do. Maybe only thing I don't like is that it's very tall when attached to your wrist and easy to bang on things.

Pros: dedicated GPS (no need to take your phone on your run) highly detailed app and software (better than the app that is paired with my wife's Fitbit) accurate (for a fitness tracker) and consistent Cons: band is not user replaceable (must be sent to Garmin) moderate battery life (3-5 days on a charge depending on the amount GPS and Bluetooth use) learning curve to get the most out of the app and software

    Excellent Choice for Me

Due to having a-fib, my cardiologist suggested I get an activity tracker with a heart rate monitor. Originally, I was thinking of purchasing a Fitbit; however, during my research and speaking with a Best Buy Customer Service Tech, I found that the Fitbits were water resistant, but not waterproof. I needed something that I would be able to keep on while swimming and showering. This fits my requirements perfectly. I can go to the gym and not worry about having to take it off and possibly risk losing it. I like the larger display also, since my eyes aren't the best. All in all, I feel I made an excellent choice for my situation.

I switched to the Garmin after my Fitbit HR died after going swimming with me. I went with the garmin as it was water resistant and I like the idea if the alerts that it provided with the price tag of an Apple Watch. I am really happy I switched for the main reason that is watch is super comfortable! Since you're supposed to wear it all if the time I find that this one is a better fit.

Like it much better than Fitbit charge hr. More accurate in all tracking with the exception of sleep. I find it is way to generous with recording my sleep. The fit is much more natural and I have less bruising on my wrist with this HR monitor which was one of the biggest reasons I upgraded from my Fitbit. All in all if they did some work with their sleep tracking I would easily rate it 5.

I selected this wearable device specifically so that the clock is always on. It does exactly that. The additional settings are fun and it integrates with other Garmin products. I also have Fit Bit Blaze and Garnin has slightly more features like app alerts but the display is lacking in overall appeal. The interface can be challenging to use but keep digging and you can find what you need.
