Present for hubby
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had been looking for a long time for one for myself and had given up due to my schedule. But right before Christmas my husband said he wanted one basically to know what his heart rate was and to keep it in a certain range when working out. He found this one and wanted to try it but I tried it out first and it was exactly what I wanted too. So I ordered a purple one for me for Christmas. Love setting goals for stairs and steps then beating them. My main thing was run/walk intervals since I am trying to get back into shape after back surgery and a broken ankle.

Great Activity Tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I super love my Garmin activity tracker!!! Very easy to use and set up and with the weather on it and messages it's perfect for just about anything I can think of using it for. With the GPS tracking on this one, it was way more accurate cross country skiing, than the old Garmin tracker it replaced. The old one worked fine, I wore the band out after a year and it couldn't be repaired. Thank heavens for Best Buy and Geek Protection. We were up and running within hours of watch disaster! Looking forward to paddling with it this summer with way better accuracy.

Easy to use but a bit pricy. Buy it on sale!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really loved my Vivofit 2 but wanted something to follow my heart rate. Too bad this Garmin is not battery operated. My biggest hang up is that the battery life does not show until it is almost dead. I have lost some step counts because the Garmin has died. I do like the ease of updating data. I'm not a serious runner but I do use this device for motivation.

Works as advertised.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It really does everything it advertised. The one thing that Garmin doesn't mention is that there is a protrusion on the underside. It is uncomfortable on the left wrist because of a prior broken wrist. It's now on the right wrist but still noticeable in that it leave a "dent" in the wrist. It would have been much better if the underside was a continuous surface.

Great!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Haven't run it through its full capabilities-- holding off for bicycling season for full use of the GPS-- but have found it very informative as a step tracker and it even shows the texts that come into my phone. The only thing that perplexes me is the counting of stairs. It doesn't seem to accurately count actual stairs, so am not sure what is being counted.

Love it!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It does everything it's supposed to. Love how it's waterproof. Newer one is not (smh). Just wish it were flatter for my small wrist.

Great activity tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used Fitbit for 2 years and 4 replacements. Garmin is by far superior. No problems getting wet, very easy to set up. Highly recommend.

Fitness Watch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great watch. Great dashboard on phone and computer. easy to use. I love that I can control a certain Music app with my watch. I have it connected to my Spotify as the default music player and it works great. I have had to replace it within the last year, but I had Geek Squad Protection so it was fully covered. I just got another one.

Great product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have only had this product for a short time, but found it is very easy to use. I use it most for tracking walks and activity in fitness classes (cardio, etc.). I just synced it with other fitness apps and really like the reports you can access. I would recommend to others. I rated it 4 stars only because of the short time frame since purchase.

good price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first HR+ tracker from Garmin. I received it from the extended warranty protection plan I had purchased for the VivoSmart Tracker. It works well and am happy with the upgrade. I strongly suggest buying the extended warranty. The bands for the Garmin trackers seem to break within a year which has happened to me twice now.

Good but thick.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a regular sized guy 6' 200lbs and the band on the regular is in the last two notches. Also, the profile is very thick and catches shirt and coat cuffs. Other than size and band, functionally it's great. Android app is easy to use. I'm getting about 6 days per charge.

Love it!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve used a FitBit for a few years and decided to change it up. Love this Garmin, love the size, love the features. I will say it’s not as ‘generous’ with steps as Fitbit so I tend to get less than I used to!

Better than Fitbit in many aspects
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had several Fitbit Flex and Charge trackers and this so far exceeds them in many aspects. My Fitbits were, in essence, disposable - they broke; fell off or stopped working after about 7 months each. The Garmin has a better band and closure so it doesn't fall off. I like that it always displays the time - the Fitbits required either a gesture (which sometimes didn't work) or a slap or a button press - the Garmin is a better watch replacement if you like to just glance at your wrist to know the time. This one has a touch screen which allows you to quickly display lots of information as you swipe between screens. A place where the Fitbit seems to be a better tracker is sleep tracking. The Garmin will sometimes record my deskwork as sleep (and I am doing IT work, not sleeping, really folks!). Both the Fitbit and the Garmin are inaccurate counting flights of stairs. My Garmin tells me I ascended 10 flights of stairs and descended 21 flights of stairs on days when there is no elevator or escalator, so they should match. What goes up must come down! I have heard many positive things about the Garmins from folks who use them and that's why I purchased it. Satisfied so far.
