Battery life was better than my wife's fitbit. Only real negative is I could never get it to sync to the app on my phone. It would sync to the computer but the app never would work.

More durable than the Vivosmart
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After having to have my 1st generation Vivosmart exchanged 3 times for lines on the display going out, I decided to buy a Vivosmart HR. I'm glad I did - the display is bigger, more robust, and as it's covered by hard plastic, much more durable than the soft rubber coated display on the Vivosmart. Heart rate monitoring is on par with other wearables and the Garmin Connect app is quite robust. No complaints.

Shortly thereafter, January 2016, we purchased one for her father's birthday. It's versatile, simple interface, and not overdone in features. The mobile and PC apps follow suit and allow you to truly dive-in with excercise, sleep habits, and much more.

The initial setup was a bit confusing, so it took me a few tries to get the iPhone to communicate, but eventually it did. The band has a lot of great features. I wish the sleep option was better, but I can live with it. I like the phone notifications show up in the band, Overall, I'm very happy with it.
