I does everything as expected and pairs well with the NIke running app where all of my data is stored. I couldn;t ask for much more in a smart watch.

I had a Fitbit Ionic and it stopped working. I bought the Garmin Vivoactive and found it to be just ok. I didn't hate it but at the same time, I didn't love it. I found it to be pretty easy to use and the battery lasted as advertised. In the end, I took it back and got an Apple watch.

I upgraded from Vivoactive HR. I use the word upgrade because I do feel that it is an improvement. The screen and graphics are significantly improved. Much brighter and easier to read. The size and shape alone makes it worth it. All my history transferred to the mobile app which made the transition seem-less. Did this during the middle of the day and it continued as if it was on one device.

I mainly bought this for insurance purposes - I have never worn watches. I love it and it actually has helped me get more engaged in my fitness.

Had trouble with an older Forerunner, but this unit was spot on at 13.11 mile GPS reading for a half marathon. It takes a little longer than expected to find the GPS signal, but once it did, the accuracy is excellent on the open road. It also counted laps in a pool accurately, but the step counter on the pedometer seems a little on the high side when walking.

Love this watch. Highly recommend it. Has GPS and records other workouts too including strength training, indoor bike, and many more.
