So far really enjoy this watch does everything I need a smart watch to do. The only thing I wish is I could answer my messages or phone calls from here but that’s OK works well while riding my bike and playing golf had no issues with The functionality of this watch the only thing I would say is I wish it had more memory on it so you could load More apps and widgets but that’s a minor issue

    GPS great/Bluetooth terrible

Overall very disappointed with this watch, the bluetooth connectivity is horrible, I can't get more than 10 feet from my phone. I had to turn the phone status notification off because it wasn't constantly connecting and disconnecting it was annoying, when it is connected I don't get any text or phone call notifications On the positive side the GPS works great, I wear it golfing and it is very accurate, and does a great job of keeping track of my mountain bike rides.

Great to track my running, just two cons

Had my vivoactive 3 for the over a year and it provides a great way to track my running progress, e.g. mileage, pace, heart rate (zones), etc. Tracks sleeping (if one doesn't mind wearing it as one sleeps). Two cons: 1. the small loop to keep the wrist band in place cracked after a year's use and so I had to get a new band 2. the charging cable end that connects to the watch occasionally needs cleaning or else it will fail to charge due to a poor connection from dirt/dust, but eventually I just bought a new charging cable.

I went through two VivoActive HR watches over the course of 5 years. Both ultimately broke where the band attaches to the watch body. I was super excited to find a Garmin that has a stainless steel body! The VivoActive 3 has been excellent so far. The face is very bright regardless of being inside or outdoors. The operation is intuitive. Plenty of apps, watch faces, activities to add in. Also, you can use any standard, 20mm, snap on watch band. Every functionality has proven solid. The only drop in performance is the battery life is slightly less than with the HR. But, at about 5 days with my usage, it still beats most smart watches hands down!

I purchased this watch for a variety of reasons. I like how easy it is to download and activate golf courses and it is very accurate on the course. I also like how it tracks my steps and sets daily goals based on previous usage.

My wife and I each got one of these and they're spectacular. The data is incredibly accurate, and let's you track weight, hydration, and do much more. It's comfortable to wear 24/7 without skin irritation, you can customize the watch faces to no end with a free app. I'm a fan of the Fallout video games and was surprised to find a vault boy face, among the zillions of options. And they're super durable, too. I wore mine in the shower accidentally and it was perfectly fine! My only complaint is that the colors on the watch face seem a little dull, but that's a minor aesthetic issue. We both highly recommend these!

The is the first fitness/smartwatch/wearable tech that I've really used. The features and connected app are amazing. Gave it 4 stars because of the quality/clarity of the watch face. It's nice, but not crystal like one would expect for the regular retail price point. Highly recommend buying on sale. Overall, great product. Not too heavy or large on my wrist (I have smaller sized hands and wrists). I do not use it as a sleep tracker, so I can't speak to what it's like wearing it all night. So far during the day, it fits well and doesn't irritate the skin.

This product is replacing my Vivoactive HR. Love it so far. Much faster Bluetooth connection with no drops. Watch face is easy to read and navigation through various sports apps is simple. GPS and Heart rate monitor are accurate.

I really enjoy this watch. The battery life is great! I can go a week without charging if I am not using the gps function. The gps significantly lowers battery life but the accuracy is really good which is nice for off-trail. The graphics aren’t great but that doesn’t bother me as I only use it to track health and ping notifications from my phone. The connect app is great for reviewing stress, activity, sleep, and other parameters that the watch captures. I would recommend this product to anyone who is active and doesn’t enjoy charging every day.

This is a great smart watch for the money. It's fantastic for runs and tracks certain exercises also! I have used many smart watches and I do find that this one is very accurate when it comes to distance and speed.

I don't really wear watches, so I wear this for about half a day and whenever I go out walking / running or some kind of yoga / weight train / HIIT activity. The nice part (for me) is that I can turn the watch off when I'm not wearing it. It's super easy to start activities and the auto-activity seems to work most times, although it has misinterpreted aggressive typing as some kind of physical activity. I do like the Garmin Connect App – it's easy to configure and customize to make it work best for you. It's a little big for me, but I have pretty small wrists.

So far I am loving the Garmin vivoactive 3 my first ever. The features are excellent and it is easy to navigate through all of the apps. There are great tutorials available online to help get started. I work with machinery so the screen can get scratched but so far there is no damage. Right now I do recommend this product battery lasts about a week as I like to have the screen illuminate bright. We are still getting to know each other but I will update the post soon.

I own several Garmin watches; they sync via the Garmin app to give me a current fitness profile. I like this VivoActive 3 because of the clear display; at a glance, it lets me know the time and my status in terms of fitness goals. I do have a couple of problems with the touch screen functionality. For one thing, it just won't work outdoors in winter when my fingers are cold (true of all touch screens). The other issue is that the list of activities on the watch screen is small enough that selecting one can be a little tricky. As I write this review, this watch has worked very reliably for me for almost two years.

This is a great fitness tracker because it has long battery life (I'm getting approximately 5 days, even with a half hour per day of GPS usage), it's easily readable in sunlight, and it has an intuitive user interface.
