This is my 3rd GPS watch bought for fitness tracking. First was a Nike+/TomTom, 2nd was a TomTom that I loved till the screen broke. I'm an amateur triathlete so need swim, bike and run functions. I love that my vivoactive tracks heart rate. And the details on my smartphone app are awesome, one of the best data-rich sports apps, I'd say. My only gripe is ot wont track open water swims. It did a good job tracking route, time and distance, tho, when I set it up for a run, started it, then stowed it in my swim buoy.

I have owned a Garmin VivoActive 3 for over 3 years. I have loved this watch! It syncs easily with my iPhone, and gives me access to not only exercise data but also things like sleep, heart rate, and stress levels. My only complaint about this product is that the rechargeable battery inside the watch does start to decay over time. I highly recommend getting the service plan on it, as I was able to replace the watch in its entirety once the battery stopped retaining its charge. Great product!

This works well for those functions that I use. Still sort of feeling it out. I do like the charging cable. I wear it to the gym almost religiously. I even used Garmin Pay (I wish the lock screen had a longer time out so that I would not have to unlock it more than once. My phone does that too, irritating. Looks good and the price was right, so much so that I don't care if it gets scratched in the gym but so far it hasn't.

İ have been using Garmin GPS watches for 7 yrs. When Vioavtive 3 was introduced about 2 yrs ago, i immediately bought it, as my then current Garmin watch was bulky. İt is small enough that I can use it as normal wrist watch, but it does all other smart functions very well. İ specifically use it for hiking around the world and other fitness, and sleep functions. İt has nice and practical cell and laptop interface. İ am very happy w it. İ just bought 3 of these in black and one in white as gift for young relatives. They are very pleased wearing it.

I bought this watch mostly for two purposes: to track heart rate during cycling workouts and for the golf application. A cycling friend has had this watch for several years and had no problems, so his endorsement helped in the decision as well. I had previously looked at golf specific devices but learned that this watch, along with the companion phone app, can do more than I expected. You can download the owners manual from Garmin to see what all it does. I haven't actually used it for gold yet given the weather in Pennsylvania in December and January. Tracking workouts is great. I have been using the Map My Ride app to track workouts (bike rides, hikes, indoor cycling) for several years. I easily set up MMR and this watch so that my outdoor workouts automatically go to MMR. Those records include route maps, HR throughout the workout, max HR, and average HR. All I need to do is press the button on the right side of the watch, pick the workout type on the touch screen, and press the button again to start. At the end of the workout I press the button again to end (or pause), choose "done," then "save." The workout will appear on the Garmin app and MMR within minutes. The Garmin app gives even more data on your workout in a user-friendly format. For indoor cycling, the watch detected both an off-brand speed sensor on the bike and when I recently bought a smart trainer (Saris Cycleops M2), it detected it too. In addition to keeping a record of the workout, I use it to check my HR throughout -- it has several display options to scroll through. Of course the other smartwatch features are great too. I like being able to customize the face, get text and email notifications (you can choose what apps push notifications to the watch), etc. Sleep tracking is interesting, but I'm not sure how reliable it is. There are definitely times when it misses me waking at 3 am, but there's only so much you can expect from a device you wear on your wrist.

Nice watch, price was right. I'm using it for the step count and the app that allows the count to be sent to the fitness app I'm using for work. Garmin connect has different watch faces that can be downloaded. The setup of the watch allows you to have the control button on the left or right side. My only complaint is that the watch band is a little short for my wrist so I am using the last 2 holes on the band. Band replacement is easy because there is a small post on the pin, so no tools are needed.

I was searching for fitness trackers and didn’t like the look of most of the Apple compatible devices. The Garmin is compatible and looks like a regular watch. I’ve had many compliments as it does not look like your ordinary fitness tracker. It’s a bit too soon to do a full review but so far so good. I am mostly interested in tracking steps, activity, calories and sleep. Battery life is good enough for me. I can usually go three or four days before charging. I would recommend this for someone who wants a fitness tracker but doesn’t like the typical fitness tracker look.

Picked this up for my son. Its not a bad starter watch or a permanent piece. It works well. Tracks just about any activity you want. Its not sapphire so it will have to be cared for. Display is nice. Not Venu quality but pretty good. For the money you cant go wrong. Syncs with the app flawlessly. I only marked quality average as i use a Fenix 5X+ and it is very rugged. With that said buy one. Maybe put a screen protector on for good measure.

I have been using fitbit for a long time and wanted to try something new. Found this on a great sale and jumped on it. I really like the look and seems to be pretty easy to navigate from screen to screen. One that that I might need to do is see if there is another longer band as I am just a few notches from the end. Still getting used to the app on the phone, lots of things to look at. Anywho, only had it for a few days but so far and digging it.
