This watch does what I need. I'm in my late fifties and we just moved to S.C. from Upstate NY we started riding bicycles and it keeps track of miles calories and elevations. Very happy with this watch

Bought to receive Ant+ signal from Bontrager bicycle computer. Works well enough for this purpose. Otherwise it is an affordable low-end Garmin smart watch.

This is a great fitness watch. It is light on the wrist and the colour looks nice. It tracked my runs, hikes and cycling well and synced well with garmin connect

Only down fall is I get all notifications and can’t pick which ones i want unlike my Fitbit but I bought this instead of sticking with Fitbit so that says a lot.

The watch and app are good, but battery life isn't

I like the watch itself for the most part and is one of the closest things to the Microsoft Band (best fitness band I've used) I could find in terms of capabilities and functionality. The batter life was great the first week I had it, but then an update to the watch came out and for the past few weeks, I have only been getting 24 hours of battery life.

Love the look of my Garmin watch. Bought it mainly to monitor heart rate while working out and it works great. Just have not spent the time to understand all its other data collecting features

First and only smart watch I have have owned. So many functions I am still discovering them. Monitoring sleep and steps appear to function quite well. Hold charge for about 3days.

For $300, you can get better Smartwatch/fitness watch. The Smartwatch features of this watch is mediocre. The durability is bad. I’ve had scratches within a week of use(I’ve been extremely careful). The fitness features are great, though!

I owned an older garmin & this one is much nicer & claasier. It basically does the same things. Only real difference I’ve noticed is battery life is shorter. I like it a lot though.

I'm still getting used to it after switching from a much simpler chest strap model. Today's workout didn't sync at all. I don't use most of the smart functions

This watch does everything I wanted it to do. My only problems with it are that a lot of the time, the heart rate monitor isn't accurate (I have to switch the watch to my dominant hand for proper workout readings) and that for the readings to work best, I have to have the watch strap on pretty tight, which irritates my skin. I've solved that by only tightening the watch while I'm working out, as well as taking the watch off for sleep (you will never get an accurate sleep monitor without brainwave measurements, and those require probes on your skull).

After three years my Garmin Vivoactive HR finally stopped working which I thought was great versatile activity watch for the cost. So I upgraded to the Vivoactive 3. Here's the good...1) Good looking watch face that does not appear to be a smart/activity watch, 2) Monitors sleep, heart rate, steps, and a wide range of activities very well, 3) smart watch features like phone calls, text alerts, and email viewing. The bad is the battery life is not a good as the Vivoactive HR. I have to recharge every 4 to 5 days depending on much GPS tracking is being used. If I am going on a trip, I have to bring a charging cable. The golf features are also good with tracking shots.

I like you can raed your whole text message and display is bright. Had the fitbit this sits much lower on wrist more comfortable while I am working. Charges quick and last 4 days.
