I don't know what happened on the 1/9/19 Garmin Connect app update but this has now broken it. The app constantly asks me for phone permissions even though it has full access and all permissions. More importantly it will no longer sync workouts from my vivoactive 3. It begins to sync and then stops. So far I have lost multiple workouts as a result. This is extremely frustrating. Between this and the 5.70 update to the vivoactive 3 I basically cannot use either since my watch now deletes watch faces, widgets and workouts at random. On top of that customer service has been beyond bad. If this isn't fixed soon I will be switching to Fitbit or Apple for fitness tracking. I cannot recommend this to anyone. It isn't worth the headache.
