This is an amazing fitness device. I wear it everyday. It has already helped motivate me to lose 10 pounds.

For the most part the GPS, sleep, heart rate, etc are accurate. I have had a few times where it hasn't tracked sleep and am not sure if it needed to be tighter on the wrist. Overall very good product compared to similar ones.

Got a great deal on this older model, replaces my OG vivoactive that no longer held a charge and long outlived its useful service life. This thing is awesome, far more features than my old one & just as easy to use.

This watch has a slick look. The screen is touch screen and that is awesome. It links to Garmin geo satellite and I get accurate locations. I sweat and this has no problem in a workout. I got a great price. The sales man knew everything about it and had me hooked. I love it.

I absolutely love this thing. A smartwatch was never something I thought I would appreciate, but it has become my daily driver over all of my other watches. I only use it for a fraction of the use cases, but the notifications for texts and emails have been useful for me, the sleep tracker is very accurate, and the battery life is solid and lasts me a good 3 to 4 days before I get a reminder to charge it soon for getting around 15% life. It also has a good build quality. I've hit the watch face on numerous walls or surfaces and I have yet to damage or scratch it. I liked the watch so much that I purchased one for my dad (who also didn't think a smartwatch was worthwhile) and now he uses it daily too. It's a great buy, especially if you can catch it on sale.

Absolutely love this model. Simple to use and accurate. Great for running & strength training. Touch screen and go. Recommend this watch to all levels of fitness.

I’m an avid cyclist and this watch keeps track of all my vital statistics, plus it looks great when wearing casually. The gorilla glass is awesome, there is not a single mark on the face after a year of everyday wear. I have found the HR reading to be very accurate.

Bought this in lieu of an Apple watch and do not regret it for a minute. I do not like nor need the fancy bells and whistles that come with some of the watches around, so this was a perfect option. I needed something that would track my walks/runs (GPS accurate down to my front door), be able to go into the pool with me for water aerobics (3x/week for 60-90 min each class and was totally submerged), durable with my job in healthcare (LOTS OF CLEANING AND HAND SANITIZER!). Stock band broke down after a year of daily wear, but a quick Amazon Prime $5 purchase fixed that. Cleans nice and the original band did not hold onto odors (I have friends who have complained that their _________ watch smells sour after so long). Garmin Connect is also super easy to use.

Bought this to monitor my heart rate. Have owned several Garmins in the Past Vivofit 1 & 2 Vivovactive 2. I was excited to see how far this technology had come since I last used and activity monitor. I like the touch screen which is easy to use. You have to spend some time learning to navigate. Once that's done you have a great activity monitor. Garmin Apps are rather thorough at logging and keeping long term data for comparisons. Also Garmin has outstanding customer support. Problems: 1.(Had to get another watch band that was more adjustable as their band irritated my arm (should not be a problem for young People). 2(I do in house walking and although you put in steps / mile in your profile it does not automatically convert.

This watch does everything. I use it for running outside and on treadmill and it keeps up with my distance and time very well. I mainly use it on the course. You even keep your score on the watch. All of my tex and emails I never miss. This is a must have!!!!

I have this and a fenix 5x. The VA3 is a lot lighter and still has a great battery life, even when using the gps for outdoor running. It has a bunch of "sports" it can track, and does most well. Overall a great product!

Purchased this for my wife, and she is very happy with it. It had a great battery life. Coming from a samsung gear that needed recharge daily, she likes that she can get about 3 days out of a charge. Simple to use. Less smart watch, more fitness watch. Recommended.

I went from Fitbit to a Garmin HR for several years and was pleased with it. I switched back to Fitbit because they make really nice looking trackers. However I soon realized Fitbit has STILL not fixed their connectivity problems. Their products do not regularly connect to their own app and website, something that is high on my list of must-haves. I decided to go back to Garmin and I'm very glad I did! The Vivoactive 3 is far superior to any Fitbit product that I've used (and I've tried 3) and looks good on your wrist! It connects to the app with no issues whatsoever. I especially like Garmin's algorithm which sets your daily step goal based on your past daily steps, another thing Fitbit can't do. I don't understand why Fitbit has been able to become the go-to product for fitness tracking when Garmin is far superior. Don't hesitate to buy it, you won't be sorry!

Initially I was kind of skeptical with this watch despite of being a basic Garmin watch but so far it has fulfilled my expectations for tracking my runs and work outs...great watch at an affordable price. Sergio

This is a wonderful activity keeping watch. It has a touchscreen and you can change settings by touching the side of the watch. You can also change your watch face.

Good for time, sleep tracking, activity and step tracking, heart rate, heavy activity, waterproof. Does sync to phone for email and call notification. Can change watch face.

The Garmin Vivoactive 3 is a great all-around tracker. What I like best (that is difficult to find in other trackers) is the swim function. You can set the pool length on this watch. (Our community pool is 31 meters, and many other trackers will only allow 25 yds, 25m, or 50m.) It also does a good job tracking cycling and walking. (I'm not a runner or golfer, so can't speak to those.) It pairs well with Strava and MyFitnessPal (and I assume other apps). It has a lot of features for a low- to mid-priced tracker. I found the Vivoactive 3 on sale, so it was an extra-good value. My first generation Vivoactive lasted about 3 years before the battery became unreliable. I updated my watch rather than replacing the battery.

The battery life is amazing, the design is great. I have used this watch on 2 5k races and a half marathon and it did a wonderful job of tracking me. My only issue is the golf tracking is a little off but that could have been user error.
