Perhaps most of the other +++++ reviews are paid? Over the past 10 yrs, this is my 8th and last device from Garmin. A total disappointment with its gross lack of accuracy, hardware failure (within the past 48 hours it froze twice, could only correct it by letting the watch battery drain completely and then recharge it). Software design and options are mediocre, annoying at times and inefficient. To make matters worse, Garmin’s customer service is an even greater disappointment with its gross lack of professionalism, incompetency and no respect for Garmin patrons (durring all my 12 encounters and 7 hours I’ve wasted with them)!

The first 4 watches (with chest straps) were great, except the battery would die too fast after less than a year of normal wear. Then, the succeeding watches that I’ve purchased, besides the battery issue, became more inaccurate as technology supposedly progressed. I was mostly disappointed about the gross inaccurate heart bpm measurement and the erroneous calorie calculation. However, what determined me to NEVER purchase another Garmin product is its HORRIBLE technical support; totally disrespectful, inefficient, and unprofessional on all ten encounters with them!

It isn't accurate at all. I calibrated it. I trouble shot it. I was told maybe it was because it was winter and it needed calibrated outdoors. Nope no such luck!

Posted .Calibration would need to be done with the treadmill itself. Please keep in mind not all treadmills are calibrated the same so if you use different treadmills the calibration won't be the same as another treadmill. So I got to buy it from else where.
