Great watch
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am extremely happy with this watch. I switcedh from an Fossil Android watch and this does everything that I used on that watch but much better. Battery lasts for many days, fitness and sleep tracking stuff works great, notifications are just the right amount of annoying.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Garmin Vivoactive 5 is a great watch for everyday lifestyle use. It’s lightweight, has excellent battery life, and is very easy to use—especially for first-time Garmin users. It offers a little bit of everything, making it a solid, well-rounded choice for daily wear. There is a lot of customization that you can make to make your watch unique and to your liking.

Great watch for health tracking metrics
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The display is bright and clear, making it easy to read even outdoors. I really appreciate the variety of tracking features—heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, stress management, and built-in GPS. It's lightweight and comfortable to wear all day, which is great since I tend to wear it during both workouts and everyday activities.

Best battery
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best watch I’ve owned. I’ve had multiple watches like the fruit watch and some other lesser known smart watches. But this garmin watch blows them out of the water. Battery life is top tier. I get 12 days on a single charge. And the health tracking paired with the garmin app has been the best I’ve ever used. Highly recommend this watch.

Vivoactive 5
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned a Vivoactive HR, 4, and recently just purchased the 5. Overall, I love these watches. I use it primarily for nonral workouts, walk/runs (no serious training or anything), and most importantly golf. I feel naked when i dont have it on. Here are my pros/cons from the VA 4 to 5: Pros: (1) battery life is significantly better on the 5. I was charging my 4 every 5 days at first and then every 2 days after roughly two years of use. I am getting a steady 7/8 days with normal workouts, notifications, etc on the 5. (2) New AMOLED display is head over heels better than prior versions. (3) ability to respond to texts and calls has been upgraded. Cons: (1) They are getting cheap with builds. Looks like they are making the VA 5 their entry watch, and the 4 was made better. The button are now plastic, and I've seen a lot of people saying it is easily scratched (I haven't personally had this issue yet). (2) No barometric sensor - so you no longer can see elevation during runs or stairs climbed. This wasnt a deal breaker for me, but certainly is a bummer. These watches have a lot of functions and pack a punch if you are active and want a tool to add to your lifestyle - these are just the majornthings that affected my use of it. I have yet to golf with the new watch, but looking forward to any changes they made there, and even if it is the same I wouldn't be mad.

Good investment
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Better than a fitbit and apple/samsung watch. Battery lasts for days and it can track sleep and steps while still keeping you updated on phone notifications.

Garming Watch
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great watch, battery lasts multiple days and its basically what I needed in a smartwatch. My only complaint would be that sometimes, it constantly connects and disconnects from my phone by itself, i have tried different troubleshooting methods and nothing seems to fix it. It doesnt do it all the time, but when it does, it gets annoying because you keep receiving notifications of it happening. I have an iphone 15 pro, if that helps any. Other than that, its a great device.

Vivoact5
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was using Fitbit for 2yrs (Fitbit Versa3 followed by Sense2) until I switched from Fitbit to Garmin after my brand new Fitbit Sense2 had s/w issues(resetting in a loop)on 2nd day of using it. I started researching online which Garmin watch is best for my needs and determined Vivoactive5 best meets my requirements. It's been almost 2 weeks I'm using it and I'm loving my Vivoactive5 . This watch is lightweight. Battery life is excellent-charge it once per week. When it's paired to phone via BT get the same notifications as phone yet charge is consistently good. I visit the gym 2 times a week and I feel it measures the steps accurately compared to Fitbit. The only drawback I feel is when phone app e.g Google maps are getting updated offline, the watch is getting notifications constantly and I feel the vibrations which can have a weird sensation on my wrist and then I've to take it off and my wrist needs to rest and relax. It's expensive compared to the Fitbit but it's worth it. P.S-I bought the Geek Squad insurance just in case(after what happened to my last Fitbit) which should be good for 2yrs.

Simple
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Garmin Vivoactive 5 delivers exactly what you're looking for: simplicity and strong health features. It's easy to use, offers in-depth tracking across stress, sleep, energy, and workouts, and keeps going for about a week without charging. For everyday wellness and versatile sport tracking, it's a great match. Just be aware that if you need altimeter-based metrics or a very rugged, premium feel, higher-tier Garmin models could be better.

Garmin review
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall the garmin itself is great it keeps a great charge and works as expected. The GPS is accurate and the workout and sleep features are a nice touch. However the band leaves something to be desired and caused my wife’s wrist to break out. Also finding different or non silicon bands for Garmin watches has proven to be an extreme challenge unlike other smartwatch’s such as apple or galaxy watch’s.

All that I need - easy to use - great battery life
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is great. The style is elegant enough to be a dress watch - none of the massive buttons that suggest military. I have read that quality wise it is a drop from the vivoactive4 that had better buttons but since I don't swim or shower with it I am confident not to be hurt by that. I loved that a lot of the setup was by default. This includes the night time face that is dull to encourage sleep, and the morning report that has good info. The choice of free faces could be better but the ones that are not free are not so expensive that you don't want to try them. It picks up the GPS fast enough and it looks as though the GPS is accurate. Battery life is great. I am not an athlete and so there are days I don't use the GPS. 24 hrs without GPS seems to consume 4% of the battery. This will drop over time but I think I am looking at charging every 4 days. That is great for business trips. I wish there were wireless charging but I don't know what features I would have to give up for that. I don't like proprietary cables. The cable is regular USB at one end. It can be regular USB at the other too. At the end of the day I have no deal breaking complaints. Pleased with it.
