Customers are saying

Customers recognize the vívofit 2 Activity Tracker's exceptional battery life and ease of use as significant advantages. Many appreciate its water resistance and sleep tracking capabilities, while some find the syncing process challenging and express a desire for a heart rate monitor. The device's size and clasp have also received mixed feedback. Overall, the positive aspects of battery life and ease of use appear to outweigh the concerns regarding syncing and the lack of a heart rate monitor for many users.

I enjoy the unique quality this activity tracker band has: that it doesn't have to charge, it sets a daily goal depending on your average steps and attempts to GRADUALLY progress, most favorite is you can tell it your starting a workout and it can track the workout right on my wrist (tracking steps, time, distance, and calories burned) I love using it to track my runs! Got it with a 2 year protection plan too at best buy

After a lot of research I purchased the Vivofit 2 for a couple of personal preferences, such as the battery lasting a year, and the look and feel of the band over the fitbit charge. It's been great so far as a motivational tool. My average steps have doubled and it gradually increases your daily goal. The only flaw I have found is that if for example I am at the supermarket and I am pushing a basket it will not count my steps and on a treadmill if I have my hands on anything it will not count those steps

This is a tracker, and is not a "smart" device meant to connect with phones, etc. With that expectation, I love this tracker! It is extremely accurate for step count and sleep detection. It's light and easy to wear with no worries of losing the band because of the locking latch. The red line and alert to move is especially helpful. I have no issues with the Connect software because I do not particularly use social media to chart my progress. LOVE that this unit is WATERPROOF. Also love the changeable bands.

Like being able to see number of steps thru out the day and reminds me if I have sat for too long. Like not having to charge it everyday and I can sync it with MyFitnessPal.

One of the best features to me is not having to charge it every so often. Water proof is another great feature. It easily syncs with my fitness pal. So far I love this product.

Tracks steps, tracks timed and distanced activities, has a sleep track mode although I don't know what the results really mean, syncs to the health app on my iPhone, syncing is not automatic, you have to open the app on our mobile device and refresh it while vivo2 is in sync mode . Love the small bands for small wrists

I purchased the Vivofit (original version) about a month ago and returned it for the Vivofit 2. I like all the features, but especially that the display is backlit so it can be seen at night. I prefer the Vivofit over FitBit because it runs on standard cell-button batteries (which last a year) vs. charging it each week which FitBit requires. If you need to see how many flights of stairs you've climbed or how far you've gone on your bicycle, the Vivofit is not for you.

My son had the vivofit till he lost it. Got this one as a replacement. Loved the last one and this one is improved. Better clasp so it won't fall off, and backlit for nighttime and audible signals. Don't bother with fit its! These are better.

My wife likes the Garmin because of the water resistance and the movement alert. Never having to recharge it is a bonus. She dislike that she has to tell it when she is going to sleep.

Thank you for your review. Glad to hear your wife is enjoying her vívofit 2. In regards to the Sleep mode on the vívofit 2, it does not require that she put it in "Sleep" mode manually. As long as she has synced it with the Garmin Connect Mobile app, on a compatible smartphone, or with her Garmin Connect account through Garmin Express and has set the Sleep Start Time and Sleep Wake Time, and in correlation with the device's ability to detect inactivity, the vívofit 2 will automatically know when she was sleeping and for how long. However keep in mind, if naps wanted to be added to the total sleep time for that day, then she would need to manually put the vívofit 2 into Sleep mode.

Again, thank you for your review. {CW} Garmin

I previously had the Nike Fuelband and wore it out. It was very stiff. Although this is a little more difficult to get on, it is very comfortable to wear and easy to set up. I never had to use my computer. The app has a neat look and is pretty easy to navigate

Previously I had tried a Fitbit and was not truly satisfied with that purchase. I came into Best Buy to see what other options were available and the sales associate was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The Garmin is perfect for me because I can wear it in the pool or shower. It does not keep track of every single step taken and it does not keep track of laps swam, yet I am satisfied with how it pushes me to go that little bit further each time.
