easy to set up and monitor steps every day which is just what I wanted so I can figure out how much more I need to walk. syncs sometimes drops off but that may be my computer lately. easy to wear and obtain replacement bands or if want to change colors.

I originally tried the Vivosmart but after having various syncing issues with Garmin Connect and realizing that I didn't need or want all the extra features, I returned the Vivosmart for the Vivofit. The Vivofit may not have all the bells and whistles as the Vivosmart but sometimes simpler is better. After a few weeks of use, I have experienced no syncing issues. It's just a simple, easy to use and reliable activity tracker.

I purchased this Garmin activity tracker because I had such bad luck with multiple fitbits. My fitbit Ultra fell apart after about 4 months of routine use. My first Fitbit Charge fell off my wrist (not the first time it had come undone, but this time I did not notice it was gone until it was lost). My third Fitbit Charge also fell off my wrist, but also would not stay charged for more than 1 day. It was time to try Garmin!!! The Garmin works well. It stays firmly clasped, with a cover that slides over the latch. It has a battery that does not need recharging. It tracks steps and calories, with readouts on the tracker. It is a little larger than I expected, but after a few days, I forgot it was there. It is waterproof, which is great for me. I am very pleased with this activity tracker so far!

Before purchasing the vivofit I did a lot of research. I found that this style & the features, along with battery life would be the perfect gift for my parents - so I bought two! As older folks there was no worrying about losing a charge and the tracker tells them just what they were looking for in a product. This is a great item for first timers & old timers!

Setup was easy. Syncing can be hit or miss at times and needing a second and third try. Display is easy to read - would be even better if it was back-lit so it could be seen in the dark. Sleep monitor timeframe needs to be input instead of just detecting when you are asleep no matter the time of day. Great color and easy to clean. So far so good.

Every since I put this Vivofit on my wrist, I haven't went to bed without at least reaching 12,000 steps. Which with my stride is approximately 6 miles. Most nights before I put it into Sleep mode I'm at 20-22k steps or 10/11 miles. I've noticed my waist shrinking and I feel great!! All thanks to a tiny little silent motivation piece on my wrist. Plus I can track my sleep which is kinda cool!!! Challenge my wife or my friends.... It's a great little invention !!!

The Garmin Vivofit is reliable, accurate and easy to use. But, Best Buy is the Best place to make this purchase or any purchase. I purchased this item online but did not receive it according to the tracking. I called Best Buy and they said, not to worry, they immediately resent the item. I received this item without any problem. The UPS delivery man went above and beyond to get this to me in time for the holiday. I am so happy and now have an aide to stay fit.

I had a Fitbit and got tired of having to charge it all the time and not being able to see my progress unless I logged onto my computer. This works so much better for me, is easy to read and see. Love it.

Great idea, tracks sleep patterns along with calories, steps taken and is water proof. A liot of my workouts are Aqua, so it tracks that. But it has stopped syncing to my computer after only a few days.

This was a great purchase. I just wanted to track steps,miles and calories and this device does it without breaking the bank. It is also easy to download to your phone app or computer app just push one button and it syncs. You can even wait a few days and it remembers each day when it syncs. A very easy to use device I love it.

I must say that I didn't think this would help me lose weight . Boy was I wrong , I Have lost 13 lbs since I got this . It makes you look at your inaction and think ' I should do something about this ' . And it works very well . Gives you and idea about your sleeping habits 'time awake or asleep, movement and such , so you can adjust things to make it better . Over all I would highly recommend this to you .

I purchased this model as it's water proof to 50 meters. I swim for exercise so I need this. I like that it includes a watch and links to My Fitness Pal. It has a battery that is supposed to last a year which is great. So far I'm enjoying it.

Purchased this particular fitness band largely because it's waterproof and I exercise in the pool as well as because I didn't need to keep recharging a battery. Well, it certainly has lived up to my expectations! Wish it were easier to adjust the time but I can live with that.

Comfortable to wear, comes with 2 bands which is nice. Lighted display would be nicer but would probably use up the one year battery faster. Seems mostly accurate. Syncing works well, wish the sleep report gave more information than just the graph but it does give overall sleep pattern, happy for price

The vivofit band and app are super easy to use. It is comfortable to wear and the display is great. You can tell the time, date, how many steps you've taken, how many you need for your goal, and how many calories you've burned. Syncing is easy and the app is very user friendly. Definitely recommended, I'm fact I have bought 3- one for me and for each of my parents. We all love it

This wrist fitness band is easy to set up and use. I love how it tells you your sleep patterns. The only thing slightly wrong is that it's a bit sensitive and will add steps when you do such things as file your nails.

It is waterproof so I don't have to take it off to shower or at the Rec Center for water aerobics. It automatically adjusts my step goal for me; up or down depending on recent levels. I like that I can also view my steps in miles and it syncs perfectly with My Fitness Pal to track calories.

First of all, I bought this as a gift for my mom. I am drawing my review based on the direct impressions from my mom after about 3 weeks of everyday usage. The main parts she enjoys about this tracker is that it syncs and calculates calories burned with the computer and phone apps. With a new year, she's looking to improve her fitness and this has allowed her to keep track of important statistics during her training. Another point she likes is the red activity meter at the top of the screen. This reminds her to keep moving in case she gets to sedentary at the computer during work. This gets a star knocked off because it doesn't provide the most comfortable fit compared to other fitness trackers. During setup it was very difficult for her to snap on the wrist band, but she has gotten used to it over time. Also, it appears to have a delay in tracking steps. For example, steps will not start to show up on the screen until after a minute, sometimes.

The fit is good, its simple ,with imformation easy to read. Very clear with at least some light, its motivating me to walk more and not annoying with a buzzer, I like that I can wear it all the time,rugged and the battery is super long lasting,they say a year! I will buy another one so my wife and I both have it. Garmin makes good stuff,at least I have had no problems.
