Customers are saying

Customers value the vívofit Fitness Band's ease of use, long battery life, and accurate step and sleep tracking capabilities. Many appreciate its water resistance and the affordable price point. However, some users mention challenges with automatic syncing and the lack of a heart rate monitor. A few also noted that the device's size may not be suitable for all users.

Device works great and is easy to use. The issues have been with Garmin Connect and Syncing. They just resolved that but it was a frustrating couple of days with a new device. The MyFitnessPal app (not Garmin) helps although there are still issues with them syncing together.

It's nice to be able to read steps taken, steps needed to reach goal, how many steps over goal, if any, mileage covered to .1 of a mile, activity during sleep and how many calories you have burned for the day. Makes a very nice motivating tool at a reasonable price.

Bought this Vivo for my wife for Christmas. She's been wearing it daily since then, and really enjoys the instant feedback of # of steps. Also works as a watch as well. The biggest grip, is it doesn't seem to stay sync'd with the app (widely discussed on the web).

Took several attempts at setting it up. Found online tutorials that helped. I probably will not take advantage of everything it does. Only interested in tracking steps and calories. Definitely helps you want to do more. Fun competition with other family members.

I bought this for my daughter. The design is sleek with a modern look but has cute color options. I like that it doesn't have to be charged. I wish that it had the heart rate monitor like my fitbit, but the price was better than the fitbit.

My wife loves the watch in comparison to the fitbit but longer battery life which is great no need to keep charging it also really accurate step counter set you own goals a good motivator.

My husband bought this to replace his Fitbit. He likes being able to see the number of steps on the band. The one year battery also was a deciding factor. You have to manually sync this to your phone as the Fitbit would sync automatically.

Very easy to set up and sync with your phone. Step count is more accurate than the FitBit devices. Phone app works pretty good. Like the tracking of sleep as well as the steps. Should really wear on the secondary wrist because on your primary wrist it will pick up activity that is not actual walking activity. Would like for it to work more with your phone in notifications but that is understandable seeing that it only works off a button battery that would not be able to handle all that activity.

I bought the vivofit to track my fitness steps, calories, miles, etc. I find it simple to use and easy to keep track of my walking. It is fun to compare with friends regarding steps recorded for the day. It has motivated me to keep moving. I would definitely puchase this again and would definitely recommend it to others.

I look into into a daily basis on how I am doing on my walking. Got this on deal of the day. Wish it had an alarm to wake me up. Does keep record on how many hours I sleep.

Mind you, this is 4 stars in light of its price point. Accuracy is good, but not great. I bought these for an 8- and 10-year-old, so the bands are a little difficult to manage as far as fit, but definitely a good choice.

My 8 year old loves it!

I bought this for my 8 year old on her birthday and she hasn't taken it off since I gave it to her, 21 days ago. She loves it! She swims with it, showers with it, wears it to school and sleeps with it on. I have it synced with my phone. I really like that it tracks her sleep. I found it very interesting to see how many hours she sleeps each night and when she gets restless through the night. (which I have found to be every night about 12:30 and 3:30am) Now that she is back at school I like seeing what times of the day she is most active. I don't look at it every day, but I just think it's interesting. She likes looking at her steps. We don't focus on calories burned or anything, she's a kid! But she thought it was cool to see that she walked/ran about 1 mile at her soccer practice the other day. A couple of her friends had either a Garmin or a Fitbit and she really wanted one too. I chose the Garmin because it was less expensive (I didn't know if she'd actually wear it) because it looked more durable (which it has proven to be) and I liked that you could see the number of steps or a clock on the face. Overall I would recommend this product. It has held up great.

I love that it tracks my sleep patterns and lets me know just how well I slept at night. I love that it's a watch, step counter and it also tells me how many calories I've burned. Very happy with my purchase

Very comfortable. A little hard to get on but never falls off. A motivation for me. Great price. I highly recommend it but it is a little large compared to Fitbit. But doesn't cost nearly as much.

I use the iPhone app with it every day since I got it on July 3. It's waterproof I've been in the pool with it on shower with it. I where it pretty much every day on my left I have my G Shock on the right is the Vivofit. I've increased my steps from 7000 to 12,000 the little red light comes on and says get up move then you go move this is actually made me work out and exercise like I need t i've increased my steps from 7000 to 12,000 the little red light comes on and says get up move then you go move this is actually made me work out and stay active every day. I want to trade up for the more expensive Garmin products in the future in Best Buy has the best price online or in the store. I priced it on various different sites and I got a better deal on sale at Best Buy. If you buy one it comes with two bands a large and a small be aware of the aftermarket and what you find on the net buy direct from the manufacturer.

Purchased the Garmin Vivofit as a gift for my 8 year old grandson. I chose this item rather than the child's size version because I felt it would "grow" with my grandson and I'm glad I did. It came with 2 bands which makes for a custom fit. The Vivofit is very easy to use with an easy to read display and is waterproof. The only problem we have encountered is some sweating on your wrist if you have the band too tight.

I purchased this after my mom bought several for the family. I love this device, it keeps me on my toes and I appreciate not having to take it off to charge it. Along with the app, I can sync and keep track on where I rate with my other family members.

I did lots of research for my first tracker. The reason I chose this over the others is because it runs on battery and so it doesn't need charging daily. I What would be better is if it had a backlight. It is easy to use and works well with my android phone.
