    I had two ranges put in as the first one was damaged. The range was brought in and placed where it was supposed to be. That is about all. There was no cut-off valve and no offer to put one in. The main gas was shut off and the water heater pilot was not restarted. The replacement range was brought in with the same issue as above but there was even a delivery note stating to restart the pilot light. I ended up doing that myself both times. For the second installation they did not even check for gas leaks. To finish it off, the legs to staballize the range so the whole thing moved when you opened the door. Both delivery companies did bring the new item in and take the old item out without damaging anything. That was a plus. In my opnion BestBuy should have trained employees do the job instead of pawning it off on anybody willing to take a side hustle. TLDR - Bottom Line - delivery and removal is a good thing. The installation itself is not so good. Follow along behind them to ensure the safety of your family and that they do their job before they leave.

    Let me begin by stating I had not purchased from Best Buy in over a decade. I took advantage of their interest free financing to spend over $7,000 between a television and range. The television has been great. The folks in the store were great. The delivery guys were kind. The call center has been kind. The range has had some quality control issues. The delivery team has had communication issues. I have been stood up. It has been 5 months since I purchased a range from Best Buy. It took three ranges, 7 days off of work and a lot of wifey in my ear to get this right. I was offered $25 compensation after the 4th appointment... quite insulting. The second range was great but the delivery folks were inexperienced and scratched the front of the unit terribly when installing the grates. Unfortunately, I waited 6 hours for the 5th appointment and nobody showed. I even called and was reassured I was the next stop. An hour later I received a call that they never received the unit and would not be delivering today. Every night before an appointment I would receive multiple reminder calls all depicting different window times. I have tried to give the benefit of the doubt. I have avoided this review so they could try and make it right. I was told upon final installation I would receive contact to discuss proper compensation. It has been roughly 2 weeks with no call or email. I phone yesterday and was told my case manager was out to lunch and would return my call. Here I am over 24 hours later and still no call. I work for the second largest retailer in the U.S. and this behavior is just shameful.

    The installers were not able to install my oven. Their failure was they did not have the correct parts to complete the installation. They did not have anything but the connection hose they brought. They said that I had to go and buy the parts required and then I had to call and set up another date for them to come back to complete the installation or I could complete it myself. I will never buy another item that has to be installed by your people again.

    The install, once it was begun went smoothly and quickly. One of the installers freaked out over my dog and initially refused to make the delivery. Even though the dog was penned. Very bazaar.
