    Although the Best Buy made good by giving us refunds for delivery/install, that didn't make up for the extra time without appliances, our time lost to the wait each time they had to return. Had planned on purchasing a trash compactor from BB but with all the issues, we went elsewhere for that product. Which was delivered on time as promised.

    I originally thought installation was great until I smelled GAS. I called ATMOS Energy and they came out and tested the connection. The tech shut the gas off and said it needed to be re-installed as it wasn't done right. I called BB and it was going to be 5 days before they could come out. I called a plumber I know and he came out today. He said the Best Buy installer didn't thread the valve correctly and threaded it with tape...that's where the gas was leaking. He also put some sort of putty down at the connection on the stove. In simple terms, he almost killed us. We could have blown up! The young man who did our installation was very nice...but when we're talking about gas, nice isn't enough - you have to know what you are doing.
