Arrived on time and went over the installation procedure with me. Installed anti tip brackets and all connections. Went over initial first time use of stove. Courteous and professional.

Gas dryer install almost killed me

I purchased a gas dryer, paid for delivery and installation and removal of my old dryer. The new dryer didn’t work and the installer said he checked the gas line and I needed to call Best Buy. I immediately called Best Buy and I was told to call another day because my delivery wasn’t updated in their system. Of course, I called the next day and they were closed for the weekend. I suffered from a terrible headache and stomach ache all day, and slept 14 hours. I woke up Sunday morning to the smell of gas. PGE came out immediately and replaced the gas valve to the dryer. The installer never mentioned breaking the valve during installation. Of course it’s Sunday and Best Buy Customer Service is still closed. The gas dryer still doesn’t work and now I am airing my house out and trying to rid my house of the gas smell. I hope this awful headache doesn’t last long.

Unfortunately my gas line wasn't correct so the installation wasn't completed; not the installers fault. However I was disappointed that the installers couldn't even put the burners on for me and set up the oven racks. There are gold pieces that came with the stove and I don't even know what they are for yet.

Before I say anything negative, I will say the crew was polite and friendly. They hauled away the old appliance which I also had to pay for and brought the new stove into my kitchen..
Now for the negative...they did not have the correct "adapter" for the gas line, and advised me they did not have one on the truck so they used the old one. The anti tip brackets were not installed and we're left still in their wrapping on my counter. Finally, and best of all, when the gas line was connected, they left the stove in the middle of my kitchen floor and the "supervisor" said they could not slide the stove into the existing opening because of my countertops. He said they could not be liable if they broke them sliding the oven into place. How careless would one have to be sliding an oven into a pre-existing opening??!!
Very disappointed with Best Buy with this part of the purchase.

Every single step of the way went poorly as it could. Only thing missing was Michael bay style explosion.
1. Installer refused to touch our old gas range due to caulk in the corner. We had to remove it ourselves, took 1 min to do so.
2. Refused to remove old anti-tip bracket that's installed in place
3. Balanced new gas range on top of the old anti-tip bracket and took a photo to send to a dispatch as 'proof' of good installation. I could rock gas range back and forth with my fingers.
4. Refused to install a new anti-tip bracket when asked to do so. Told me I had to hire separate contractor to install them.
5. Lost anti-tip bracket that came with the new unit. While making a trip from their truck to our house, a grand total of 100 feet, they lost the bracket so they won't give it to me.

This installation crew of 2 barely speaking english guys. Are on the rush. They don't give a darn about the customer. Why do they have this team together is beyond me. They remind me of landscapers. When you ask them questions. They have no answers, no customer support. No support like hold on I will call my supervisor to help you. Or anything. Just drop and run. The box for the microwave had a dent they didn't even want me to open the box and check it out. These guys representing Best Buy? Very sad.

Delivery guys said they couldn’t do the install because I needed another “piece” for the connection that was coming out of my floor when in fact nothing else was needed there was an “extra” piece. If they took that off they could have connected it. Called Best Buy for a refund they said it was done and never got it.

I paid for both Instalation and removal of the old one but the technicians that came left my stove in the hallway and left. They told my husband that we need to call a plumber and have him install a new gas pipe. All they needed was an adapter to install it. I went back to Best Buy to get a refund of this service fee
