    Installer was rude uneducated about the stove he was installing scratched the side of my stove and in the process of hooking up gas line kept knocking my magnets with pictures of my kids and grandkids off my refrigerator and just kept stepping on them, didn’t bother to bend over to pick them up didn’t even step over them, he stepped directly on them! He knew I wasn’t happy and didn’t care he told me he’s hired to connect line n that’s it! He snapped a pic of burners working and left, I contacted Best Buy and the we’re wonderful with rectifying the situation. If I ever purchase anything again that needs installation I will make sure I don’t get the same installer!

    When the installers came to hook up our new gas stove, they didn’t put the gas hose through the hole where it belongs so the stove can’t be pushed all the way back and it doesn’t line up with our counter top. We would like this fixed.

    You took my money. You said that you would handle everything. I relaxed. You show up without the tools to do the job. My disabled wife calls me in a panic because you just left with my kitchen torn apart and the new stove right in the middle. How do I feel?? I feel like I would have rather bought a stove from some local guy that gives a hoot about me and my family. Looking back I would have paid double to a COMPETENT business. You should probably contact me. There’s more. P.S. If you get the time in your hectic day could you PLEASE COME GET MY OLD SLOVE OUT OF MY DRIVEWAY LIKE I PAID YOU TO DO??? Also I have spent $268.17 so far finishing YOUR job. Store credit will do.

    Left stove in wrong place with plastic still on it which burned after turning the stove on. Did not appear to have any concern about installation. Gave no instructions. Installers did not appear interested in answering any questions.

    Left me with a gas leak to fix myself

    Had a gas range installed recently. Nice guys, but they failed to check for leaks. (They also left the range about four inches from the wall, which is too far.) After two days of my wife complaining of headaches, I pulled the range out enough to get to the (new, required purchase) gas line, where the smell was unmistakable. A quick test with a soap solution revealed the source of the leak, which I fixed. Then I coiled the hose properly and pushed the range right up against the wall, as it should have been. Let me repeat that testing for leaks with a soap solution only took FIVE MINUTES, which is the very minimum time and effort an installer should spend to make sure the job was done right. And I tipped those guys, too. Maddening.

    People showed up on time, we ended up installing ourselves as final inspection not completed. Installers would not get unit ready to install, explained they did "All or nothing" and left. We assembled and installed on our own with contractor.

    Gas has been leaking since install. Had geek squad out, they were not allowed to "re install" to repair it. Guy's hands were tied. So I have an expensive gas leak.. months of this now.

    This sucked and cost me a few hundy's out of pocket. My plumber came ahead of the install to make sure the gas valve was in the right place, and actually moved it over to align with the instructions for the range. When the delivery people got there, they said the hose that came with the connection kit didn't match the size of the valve my plumber installed, and moreover, they weren't able to make it work via a coupler, reducer, or anything. They also said if I bought the piece adaptor, they couldn't come back. So they left it in the kitchen uninstalled and I had to pay my plumber to come back. FWIW, BestBuy did compensate me partially, but still.

    Two problems: first, Best Buy unexpectedly canceled and rescheduled the delivery date several times. The installer arrived at one of the cancelled times, when no one was expecting him. Second problem: the installer connected the range to the gas line but did not move the range close enough to the wall. He left a large gap (about 6 inches) between the wall and the range to accommodate the gas line, instead of bending the gas line closer to the wall and then moving the range into the correct position. We will have to find someone else to pull the range out, bend the gas line, push the range back toward the wall, and install the metal filler strip left by the installer.

    The installation of our new LG dual fuel range was a nightmare. Installation took four (4) visits . There were missing components. I had to hire outside trades people to get the job done. Not a pleasant experience

    Delivery got delayed and installation was even later than delivery, crew had to return because gas lines were loose and leaking

    The installer did not install my stove properly. There was a gas leak for which the fire department had to be called and the gas company to repair. this installer should NEVER be allow to work for Best Buy EVER again. He put my whole families life in danger simply. My husband asked him "shouldn't you put some sort of tape to the connection of the gas line and he said 'NO'. The installer did not perform the last check before he left. The fireman found the little pouch behind the stove unopened.

    Returning installation costs

    Installer wasn’t able to INSTALL the gas range using the install kit that was purchased with the appliance. I was able to return the install kit at my local Best Buy store without any problems but returning the installation service cost requires you to call Best Buy customer service which means that you will be on telephone hold for quite some time and if like me, have to call multiple times. I’m still dealing with the return a month and a half later. Best Buy does have a separate customer service # for elite plus members which I just discovered and may cut down on wait time.

    The technician left the gas range not positioned at perfect fit with kitchen cabinet due to interference between the flexiable gas line and the gas range. He seems not familiar with positioning the flexiable gas line properly for gas range. I had to re-positioned the flexiable gas line, and the gas range is at perfect fit with kitchen cabinet now. Hope the technician get training for gas range installation ,and do better next installation.

    Delivery was about all I got, no additional help as far as how to operate the tech on my oven nor did they ask if I would like to look over the oven before they left.. Definitely not what I expected!

    The job was to take back one stove and replace it with another one. The first stove was installed with floor protection and there were no scorches left on the floor. This crew did not use floor protection and scratches were left on the hardwood floor. Watched them carry out one stove and saw them basically drop the stove unto the ground, hard. Heard similar noise when they brought the new stove into the house, suggesting they dropped the new stove too. They did not pick up after themselves leaving screws on the floor. Did not take plastic wrap covering off the stove. Did not give even a cursory explanation of functions of stove.

    Geek Squad wasn't able to install my gas range because he didn't know how to or wasn't able to. I would have to do extra work to upgrade my gas valve and then they'd be able to install it, which the whole point to pay this $20 was for them to do it for me! Instead he installed my fridge, which I could have easily done and didn't even ask for it. My gas range should be "working before they leave" and it wasn't. Hire experienced professionals or TRAIN your employees to install all appliances no matter what the situation is.

    Bought a stove and package to be deliver & hooked up some how you guys dropped the ball not once but 3 times. Stove wasn't delivered onnthe fay you said & no 9ne called to tell me, had me just waiting, I wouldn't have known if I hadn't called you guys. Then on top of that when it was delivered they didn't have the parys to connect it, so now Im stick waiting. Once the parys got delivered they somehow managed to schedule hook up 3 days later. Just the worst service I ever received. Will only buy things I can yake oit the store muself from now on.

    Lazy bad installers. Showed up saw it would be a slightly difficult installation removing the old stove and getting out of the house, so they said it was impossible and couldn't be done. I ordered the exact same from another company, they came and removed the old stove and installed the new one the next day without any problem and took less than 30 minutes. Best Buy installers are lazy and have no interest in doing anything that might be slightly inconvenient. This had changed my whole view on Best Buy and I will never make another purchase with them.
