    I thought I was buying just a smaller version of what I was replacing. Same manufacturer just smaller and less wattage. No big deal. What I miss is being able to add 30 seconds to preprogrammed settings like popcorn. It is still a good value for the price.

    This is the second such microwave oven that I have had. The first one lasted 3+ years and for some reason just died. Anyway, it does everything one would expect from a budget priced microwave. It is 950 watts which is interesting since most recipes call for 1000 watts - but I guess this is "close enough". The oven is pretty quiet and it does have the ultimate necessity - the 30 second button. It looks nice and the push button to open the door works well. The only strange thing is that sometimes you will key in the amount of time and the oven will not start but will rather say "Food". Not sure why but if you open and close the door and then hit Start everything is fine. This does not happen very often.
