Q: Is control panel easy to read @ night?
A: No its not. The control panel is not back lit. The picture of the microwave is pictured in the add as showing the buttons and numbers. But when plug in the only thing you can only see is the clock. Even when the overhead kitchen light is on i have to strain to see the numbers. Sad but the unit has to go back.

Q: What are specific outside measurements..size
A: The dimensions are 12 inches high, 20.3125 inches inches wide and 15.625 inches deep.
A: Hello - this is Nancy at GE Appliances. We apologize for any inconvenience; however, this microwave does not offer the turntable On/Off feature. The dish, food or pan should have at least 1" clearance from the walls including the door for proper microwave ability. We're glad you checked with us!
Q: Will this microwave fit in to a 21" W cabinet when opening the door of microwave?
A: Barbra; The microwave measures 20.5" wide with the door open X about 16.5 deep and 12" high. It should fit widthwise in your 21" cabinet. Don't forget you need enough room for the air vents, one of which is on the left side and the other is on the back of the microwave.
Q: I bought this, why is it blue???
A: You need to peel off the plastic film. Anything blue is plastic!
A: Yes, the hot top on right side is normal because that is where the "nucotron" is located. The instructions tell you to not have anything on top of the oven when it is in use, probably because of the heat which probably will melt chocolates in a box.
