The unit comes with a set of generic instructions that is not specific to the JES1145 model, so you have to go on the GE website to see the exact function of the preset assist buttons on the key pad. You can also call the 800 number to request a paper copy be mailed to you, but be very specific about the model number. They sent us the instructions for a different model on our first request.

Do wish that the black buttons were a lot easier to identify and that the alternate power level button was lower rather than buried in the menu. Also the trait turns fine but makes a screeching noise if you put the plastic support ring in Props to Best Buy on very quick service, my old microwave died on a Monday, I ordered this Tuesday at 11:00 p.m. and it was delivered for free early Wednesday afternoon.
