You can't turn off the beeper and since the microwave has express buttons that are the same as 1, 2, & 3, you aren't able to press 1 min 30 seconds.

My husband being as smart as he is suggested white number stickers which were easy to find on Amazon. After applying these we have no problems. Suggest manufacturer include these with microwave for older consumers. Thanks, Sharon & Jack

Despite moderate volume, it is pretty large, and can fit a family of up to 4. But there are drawbacks: The buttons are hard to press. The fingers signs are clearly seen on it so it demands constant cleaning. The operation noise is pretty strong, beyond other models I've used over the years... We replaced it after several days.
