    We wanted a straightforward microwave to replace a very old microwave that failed. This one has the same control panel layout as the old one, so it is easy to use and is much more efficient than old unit. The new unit has the same internal dimensions and same power rating and is smaller in outer dimensions and much lighter weight. Overall, the unit works well, as expected.

    This microwave's door is loud when you close it. Numbers on the control panel are pre programmed, but the least is 30 sec. Also, if you are trying not to turn the kitchen lights on, you can't see anything on the control board, you must turn the lights on, which is kind of a quiet-relaxing-mood killer.

    It's working real well. But it's brand new so hard to tell. Still, I like it and it was on sale. GE is a very reliable brand and I didnt have any problem making my decision out of the other brands.

    Our last microwave lasted many years. In the last few years it make a rattling noise when we used it. Bought this one on the 9th and it works perfectly. We use is to make popcorn and to warm up leftovers. It does that quite well.

    Great microwave. It's only fault is the buttons don't light up, so it's hard to microwave anything late at night. Also, the microwave gets confused if you press too many buttons. Will buy a more expensive model next time, but this one heats up food well.

    Our over the stove unit died suddenly. The coil or whatever it is called and we REALLY depend ion our microwave. We went to BB and saw this one. It fits perfect on counter, had inside light, full size turntable etc. It's less wattage than our other but not by much. After 4-5 months it's proved it's worth. And it was under $100 with the price match guarantee. We are happy
