Only 900 watts but seems to work as fast as a larger 1200 watt unit it replaced. Only downside is that you get minutes rather than seconds when you press the number buttons for quick cook.

I did a bunch of research and given the price, the brand (GE) and Best Buy's reputation, this was a no-brainer. It also fits in nicely with the decor of my kitchen, as my stove is chrome.

We also bought the 4 year protection, to take her through to her BS.
