She figured out how to use it herself a feat for an 88 year old who is not techy. Loves how fast it cooks I think her old one was 15 to 20 years old and a lower wattage.

Plus side is the light stays on while the door is open, not all microwaves do this. One major con I see is the function of the keypad. Starting the microwave is more complicated than it should be. I figured it’ll be just a matter of entering the time and pressing start but it requires more steps than this. Also, the door open button is smaller than it needs to be.

I question quality control on these units

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am sorry to say that these unit has many flaws but unfortunately i am stuck. the first time i brought it i took it home only to discover that it was out of alignment with a gap in it. Upon returning it the second identical unit lasted 5 months then the heating element created a smell like burn popcorn every time we used it...the third unit sitting presently on my counter has a problem with turning the food. So this weekend i intend to return it and replacing it again... 4th time a charm any one?

It is a little louder than our previous microwave, but not bothersome. It also shows fingerprints but they are easily removed. So no major negatives
