It has all necessary functions including a cooking light and timer. This one is little noisy and lower on the power side, but works fine.

I use it primarily to start defrosting frozen foods and as an accurate timer. Slightly lower power than previous microwaves I've owned, but does what it's supposed to do.

We would suggest covering your foods loosely while heating or reheating to help reduce the amount of food spatter on the interior.
