It does a perfectly fine job microwaving things but there a couple of things that irritate me about it. 1) Our old one, if you wanted to microwave something for 30 seconds you hit 3 0. This one, if you do that it's 30 minutes. You have tor remember to hit the timed button. Minor irritant. 2) There is no instruction book I can find. Usually it's in the box or on the web. 3) I haven't figured out how to use the Defrost button.

User friendly. It also has the feature to give a gentle beep after heating something and forgetting it. All microwaves seem to be loud in shutting the door. Wish that can be improved. Otherwise it's a good microwave.

I needed a “reasonable” priced microwave to replace my big dollar convection oven. Since we never used the convection part of the old oven, we decided to go this route. It’s been solid with no issues an does just what we need it to do.

GE Microwaves are well built. Bought this one for our son and girlfriend who just moved into a new apartment. Works great, and looks sharp on their counter. it is worth the extra couple bucks for its style over some of the cheaper models available.

Easy to use. And it beeps when it ends until you open the door to get when ever you used it for. If you don't or forget it beeps until you get it out just to remind you that you left something inside. Good Microwave!

Microwave works great so far. Instruction panel is pretty easy to understand IF you can see it. Therein lies the 4 star rating. If the unit is placed where light hits it directly, probably no problem. Mine sits in a corner without direct light and it is like trying to read black on black. (I keep a small flashlight nearby). Not a great design. I suppose they were going for esthetics, but it needed a little more practicality and common sense in the panel design.

Needed a small unit for my downstairs area. Directions are concise and easy to follow for set up, The stainless steel does show finger prints but a little cleaning wipes the smudges away. Cooking is even and most of the popcorn kernels pop. That's worth purchasing

Purchased this microwave for a teachers lounge. They said it works great and looks nice. Very easy to use and great functions. Best bang for the buck if you are looking for high quality and low price.

Perfect match to my GE appliances. Very handy and easy pad selector. Door is a tad hard to push open, but should last well because it's durable. Great value for the price. BUY IT.

Appears to be a solid microwave for the price. I got a good deal on it on sale. Cooks things quickly and quietly at an even temperatures. Buttons sometimes seem hard to push but that's a minor thing. Overall, very satisfied.

I bought this microwave and my family loves it . When you turn it on it has a quiet mode when heating up food.
