Not happy with GE.

Just wanted a hot cup of tea no light inside power pad not working. Switched to a different outlet still same issue. Checked our circuit breaker and it was working fine.

Posted .We’d like to assist with this issue with your new microwave not operating as expected. As switching to a different outlet hasn't helped and there's no issue with the circuit breaker, we recommend leaving the microwave unplugged for a couple of minutes before plugging it back in, to reset it. If troubleshooting doesn't solve this issue, information about utilizing your warranty is available on page 15 of the manual; that can be viewed on our GE Appliances website when you look up the model number, go to the product's page, and view the 'Owner Support' section. You're also welcome to send us a private message via X, Facebook or Instagram with your contact information, the complete model/serial numbers, and a copy of this review. We'll look into your situation as soon as possible.

Difficult to Read Panel

It’s very difficult to read the words on the front panel and it’s so big. see why it was on sale, if I hadn’t thrown the box away I would return it. I use it for , maybe a year. I’m currently looking for a better product.

Loud grinding sound during use.

Within two weeks it began making a very loud grinding sound during use. When I contacted Best Buy about a return I was directed to the manufacturer to resolve the issue.

Stopped working after 2 months

I bought it on sale and was only offered store credit for it so in order to get the same microwave I would have to pay full price now. I was looking at the same microwave in the store the day I was given store credit so it was avaliable. The support hotline was of no help.

Rattling noise

Garbage Product.

Since covid GE has been putting the cheapest parts in these microwaves and things are getting worse and worse. The switches inside go out very quickly after opening the box and now GE put in some kind of door locking mechanism that is goes out very quickly. I installed it 3 days ago and it already messed up. GE products are becoming trash. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TRY A DIFFERENT BRAND!

Posted .If your microwave runs but is not heating, there could be one of many components that is not working properly. Please make sure the “Timer” function was not inadvertently used. Also check to ensure the door is closed securely; open the door and close it firmly. This confirms the engagement of the door's safety mechanisms. -- If these suggestions do not solve the problem, we recommend following the warranty exchange instructions on page 15 of the Owner’s Manual. Stopped working properly after 3 months

I had a bowl of soup that was cold from fridge in the microwave for 4 minutes and it was still stone cold. The top, botton, and sides were all cold. Up to that point it had worked fine but it only lasted 3 months.
