Great Experience With Best Buy & Geek Squad

They made this a lot easier than I expected. The only glitch was the first unit they delivered was damaged. The service man noticed the damage and told me before they installed it. I was impressed with his honesty. When they brought the replacement, it took less than 30 minutes for them to install.

It really served me well and I guess it had to go sometime. I purchased a new GE microwave in stainless steel and had it installed by BestBuy. They did a fantastic job and the technician was friendly and was great at getting microwave installed.

If you open the door before the microwave is done cooking it shorts out the entire system. This started happening after about a year... well out of Best Buy's warranty period. You then have to remove the front and top vent in order to replace the fuse. So infuriating. After searching message boards, I found out this is a common issue with this model which we didn't know before buying. Since we bought it we've changed the fuse at least 10 times and it still occurs. Major defect. Avoid buying this model if possible!

Our local Best Buy, Lebanon, NH, surprised us by having this model in stock. It's a new version of the model we had. It's a great microwave and saves precious kitchen space. The instructions were easy.

It would be better as a red, blue or a soft white. Replace a perfectly good 27 yr. old microwave due to the wiring faliure of the work light
