Very quiet and the time display is larger and brighter than my older one. No wire shelf inside but do not really miss it. Installation was easy since I was able to use the same mounting bracket and holes as my older one had. It is suggested and advisable to use 2 people to install.

The microwave is easy to use but I would have preferred to have a booklet that was more complete insofar as time to blanch or cook different vegetables, etc. I kept the one from my old microwave as a guide but it was a slower oven than this one. This is a problem for GE not Best Buy.

My 20 year old GE microwave finally needed replacement, so I selected this one. It does much of what the previous one did, and also includes some new functions that I previously didn’t have. It works and looks great, and given my history with GE microwaves, I expect it will last a long time as well.

We got this back in December, and couple months later it broke but used warranty and they come and fix ir very quickly. Besides that is a very good microwave for home use.

I had a cafe model so this is not as fancy and doesn't have all the bells and whistles. However, it satisfies my need at a much lower price point. It's a great microwave. It looks great above my stove.

I love that you only need to touch one number if you are looking to heat something for 1-9 minutes. We were looking to update our appliances to stainless steel and since we loved our GE that we already had and it still worked great we chose to replace it with another one. So happy we did. Looks great and so easy to use.

Installation was easy. After 3 weeks, we've had no issues. cooking time is shorter, as it has more power than our last microwave.

This microwave is perfect for me as I do cook a lot in a microwave. Great price works well.

We've only had the microwave for about a month but so far I love it! The panel is easy to read and the LED display is a bright white. The light under the microwave is towards the back of the microwave but illuminates the stove well. My only complaint is that fingerprints show up pretty well. Other than that, great microwave at a good price.

Overall, we are very pleased with the performance of this microwave oven. The Potato feature cooks yellow and sweet potatoes remarkably well. The Melt feature is terrific for melting butter. The Mute feature is great to have when other family members are sleeping. It's very easy to wipe up splatters or spills from the interior surface. The one aspect, that could use improvement, is the noisy door which makes a loud bang when it is closed. In addition, it would be better to have 2 light bulbs underneath (like our old GE microwave did) to provide more light on the top of the range.

Had a different model and it broke after two years, but it never seemed to work well even during the two years. So this new one is a breath of fresh air. It does not make any noise, the door does not stick, and it does not seem to overheat as the other one did. Plus the set up during the pandemic was flawless.

We have always loved this microwave, but after 6 years had to purchase this product again because the door handle came off which is why it is 4 stars not 5.

We replaced my old Samsung over the range Microwave, whose door handle and part of the door were cracking after 10 years of use. It has been over a month we have be using the GE JVM 6175SKSS and so far everything works well including external vent for exhaust. I hope this one lasts longer than the Samsung.

I had a cafe’ series Ge microwave before. I had to basically start over as the wall hanger did not line up with this one. It took about an hour to install. I’m very satisfied for $259. It is a good size and has a powerful vent.

Love the slate finish! Fits very nicely in previous space and is slightly smaller on outside than the one I replaced. Seems about the same size inside and does everything I need. Only complaint is the vent doesn't really work very well and gets quite a bit of condensation on bottom when boiling water on cooktop.

Microwave is perfect, the installation crew was spot on! Arrived on time, removed old unit, installed new unit expertly, cleaned up and were gone. Very much appreciated

The microwave that was delivered was a newer unit than what was displayed in the Best Buy store. The biggest difference is the glass tray inside the microwave was larger which was a nice surprise. The installation was quick and the microwave works great.

This is our third or fourth GE microwave in 24 years. the BEST part about this was the installer! Jeremy Harwood. For all the years we lived here we had a private person install; and decided to take a chance on Jeremy. So glad we did. Jeremy will be our "go to guy" for any installations we need in the future. So happy. Thank you.
