    Subject: Somewhat distraught with Best buy (BEBY) online customer service on handling failed deliverable & accountability. Sunday: Order this item online supposedly thru my preferred store for delivery, but the order was routed the Bronx Terminal for next day free deliver. This was part of the sale. So I would take a Monday (5/26) deliver for Memorial Day. Had some plans, but opted to get out to get the AC. Notice the that my signature preference was not listed. I want a package with required signature. Called BEBY to add it on. Then notice the delivery will be on Tues (5/27) instead on Monday. No customer service available that night. Monday: Called BEBY & told them they advertised the product deliver for Monday, but the receipt had Tues. I said I have set aside time & cancelled plans for this delivery. This Cust. Service (CS) called Roadie (UPS subsidiary). The CS said Roadie will pick up from the Shipper btwn 12 & 1pm & deliver it by 5-6pm. Great. Then the CS said maybe he should have an email confirmation. I kept checking Roadie delivery app for the status. No pick up at the Bx Terminal by 2pm. So I did not leave my apt & waited. No delivery. What's going on? I was assured it would be delivered. Called BEBY again with another CS & had to explain this all over again. CS apologized & said it will be delivered Tues. I told CS I had set time aside for this delivery & now I have to cancel plans for the Tues. I will be a prison in my home again. They said it will be delivered. I was assured again. Tues: Waited again for a delivery. Roadie app status indicated the AC pick up is in progress. Side Note - Roadie is the side hustle/gigs for people to do in their spare time who are not vetted - Random bodies to just do the job. 12:39pm - I get a text from Roadie app - The Diver "Shiann" is on his way to my place. Wow, I am gong to get it sooner, GREAT. 6:06pm - Get a text " the driver has arrived" & replied "I didn't hear my doorbell ring". 6:13pm - The Driver texted me to call him at another number. He told me that he is downstairs & did not pick up my AC. WHAT?! STUNNED - "What do you mean you don't have it?" Strange conversation. He said BEBY would not release it. WHAT?! I said, " you're downstairs now?" "Yes" "What are you doing here? Why didn't call me earlier?" "I don't think of that" (What is going on here?!) "if you had called me, I could have gotten BEBY on the call" He tried to call Roadie, but no one would help. (I had that experience: no one is pick up the phone nor their online CS - no one is responding). This is getting BAZAAR! I record him. Is this a SCAM?! According the Roadie & BEBY website/app, the AC was Attempted Delivery. Now after one supposed delivery attempt, the store returned the item & will refund my payment within 10 days. This considered a return. WHAT?! Guess what I did? Called BEBY again. As you can see, this how a simple delivery item got complicated. And, it gets worse with BEBY CS. Because I could not get one RELIABLE person to follow up on this from the beginning, I have call multiple times (7-8 times). I retold the story each time bc I was rotated from one CS to CS. Each could not follow thru on any of this. There was not one person see this thru to maintain this so-called consistency standard. I think I said enough yet there is more to tell. CS will say sorry you had a bad experience as part of their script. I been a BEBY customer since it arrived in NYC & have been on several of subscription plan including "Total subscription". SORRY DOES NOT COMPENSATE FOR ALL TIME BEING USED & FRUSTRATION A SIMPLE DELIVERY. BEBY Rating: Scaled of 1-10 - 1 - Worst & 10 Best - Did the CS follow thru on your order - 1 - Did the CS provide Value - 1 - Did the CS make the issue easier - 1 - Did the CS provide effective help on your issue - 1 - Did the CS forget you - 10

    This is the first air conditioner that has a background sound when the AC is running. It's not evident during the fan and it's intermittent. Not used to The anomaly considering the number of ACS I've bought through Best buy. Sounds like a small manufacturing QC error. I'm assuming it's a one-off. Perhaps a loose screw causing vibration.

    Horrible AC, do not spend your money on this model. Only lasted 2 months for me, the compressor stopped working and it only works in fan mode now. Didn’t even last the whole summer! It’s just a big loud noisy giant fan now. The settings always reset to default fan speed and temperature and on eco every time you turn it on which is annoying and the filter is very hard to remove and clean and put back in.
